I might play some MW2 with you guys but black ops has been getting me back into objective games again. I've been playing demo like some sort of a regional manager.
 
I was just running with Azuremen on Skidrow, when they blew me up with a noobtube. Honestly, I don't even know if it was Danger Close, but they didn't have to twist my arm. They blew me up through that hole in the floor on the second floor? I replicated the shot for double, then some. :D

I'm loving the M4 with red dot(or holo, I forget) right now. I couldn't use it without stopping power + silencer though. I don't get it. I use ACR with silencer w/no stopping power without any issues. :confused:

Anyway, thanks to Cody & Eric for the games. Now I can go to bed!

I'll see what's going on. I ran the PS3 for about 3 hours. Updated the system, got my accounts squared away, did the PS+ thing, updated GT and checked out the new stuff, did a few laps then my internet decided to cut out so I messed around offline. I'll have to download the free stuff when I'm comfortable leaving the system alone for a few hours. I'm really hoping the Arctic Silver I threw on the processors is going to hold up. I had barely enough left, but I got everything covered just hopefully not too much...also hopefully it's not too old as I've had it for a while. Fan didn't seem to be on warp speed and the air coming out didn't feel too hot. Just give me a couple days to watch it like a hawk and then I'll be good to go. I might jump into a few matches here and there, maybe an hour max, during the week. It's sooo good to be back.

I should do something with mine. It died of YLOD like year ago, I think I'll see what I can get for it on eBay, non-working, as-is.
 
I've sent in an email but haven't gotten anything back (just cleared out my inbox: 350 messages :scared:). And the only things that mention COD Elite are from GamesRadar or IGN..
 
Only time I've ever wished I had a smart phone was when I went to fedex and had the wrong address for a package. That was pretty lame. Otherwise its never mattered to me.
 
I played MW2 for the first time in forever last night, my aim was rusty as all hell as you'd expect but I only got OMA+DC'd twice and Commando'd around five times in three hours of gaming. What's the world come to when you can play MW2 and not get blown up or sliced in half?

DC's out of control. I've always kept a DC class in the pocket, but I use it all the time now, just about all of them in retaliation.

My main concern are the hacked lobbies. We don't see it often, but I seem to encounter them just about weekly now. I wish I could Commando Pro them in real life. They have permanently crippled my CoD4 account. If they do the same to my MW2, I don't know how I might feel. I'd probably go along with a death penalty. Probably.

I can't play tonight, but I seem to have that affect on people. :lol: I snuck on twice tonight, just to play couple of quickies. Both times, as soon as I get on, I'm getting invites from people who were definitely not on MW2 when I got on. Sorry peeps! :dopey:
 
for anyone whos bored, try getting a nuke with following class setup:

Perk 1: marathon
Perk 2: lightweight
Perk 3: scrambler

Prim. weapon: Intervention with silencer
sec. weapon: any launcher

lol good question, i so far managed to get a harrier and a chopper gunner but it got taken down and the game ended. 16-0 was my score... but yea if u run out of ammo just pick up another weapon i guess :dopey:
 
Does anyone have some tips for quickscoping? I've just gotten bored playing around using my normal run 'n gun style and am attempting to learn this. But it seems I have very little aptitude for it, normally going 5-15 or something terrible like that (in free-for-all).
 
Tip: don't bother. It's a douchey playstyle and does nothing but piss teammates off and lose you matches.

Noobtubing with Danger Close is more fun and more effective IMO. Still kinda douchey though. :indiff:
 
I have never done this before, never thought I will do this before, but I did it. During a Team Deathmatch which I was the host, I pulled the plug(turned off the router). It was one of those Danger Close filled matches, so I was getting blasted, left & right. Then I got killed 3 times by one of those guys camping in the doorway, in prone with sights staring at the corner. Each time. :crazy:

When the AC130 came, I pulled the plug. Not because I was raging, but in attempt to say 🤬 🤬, buddy! Like we've been witnessing, people are playing like jerks more & more, and I definitely felt like taking away their reward. :sly:
