Caller ID important? or not??

I love my caller ID, I love it when some shmuk that I dont want to speak with calls and I just ingnore him/her. How about you guys?

i used it once when some arsehole pranked me, i rang them back and abused them for about 10 minutes. never got a call from them again.

Heh heh! Company hasn't got round to giving me a mobile yet. But if they did, when I was in the office, I'd divert it to my land line.

Oops yeah I should really stop diverting the land line to my mobile

If it's YOUR mobile, it's up to you whether you give the number out and accept calls on it. I'm quite militant over that.

well I didnt give it out, its just programmed into the phone or something. Although I think I will take it off because apparently im meant to be getting a portable handset. So people can call me anywhere in the building and moan at me j/k

Blocked name? Private? If you don't want me to know who you are, you don't deserve the pick up. But you can leave a message(which they never do).

Also had this twit calling our house every 5 min, you would pick up the phone and hear "hshehhehehehshshs(like backround talking) *click* and they hunk up. So I called back right after they hung up and they were like "hehello?" and I said "This is Creve Couer police dept, we got several calls that you were calling people and hanging up. We consider this a felony phone violation, and an officer is on the way to your house." The guy said "OHHH S****!!!" and I said "Obscenities are also considered felonies in this area." I heard "uhhhmm....hang on....(backround talking)There's a cop coming over here!!! he's gonna arest us!! What are we gonna do?! *click*"

Never got a call from them again.

I don't ever answer the home phone because I hate talking on telephones. Once in a very great while I answer my cell.



So, I guess caller ID is important, I mean, it let's me know who I would be talking to had I chose to answer the phone.

Caller ID is great for when you have a bunch of chic's calling you all the time and you don't really want to talk to any of them. I love it for that.
