Waaaa?
Maximum Power: 230 HP
Minimum Weight: 1000 KG (2200 LBS)
The real regs are 1140KG and around 300HP.

:dunce:

Doesn't the HP and weight limit vary by series?

Can you give me a link to where you got that information? :odd:

I'm still convinced that the HP and weight limits vary by series.

Super 2000 regs are as others have stated.

Other touring car series may adopt a variation of the S2000 specs, but then they are not called S2000 cars. Some touring car series run their own set of regs. The regulations you have set are little closer the to the BTCC production class of around the 2000-2001 period.

Heavy damage is also a bit of a turnoff. Someone's millisecond of lag can cause the slightest bump and make someone's race excruciatingly long.

Read through the entire S2000 regulations and check out all the cars on fiawtcc.com.

OK, I got rid of the "Super 2000" thing.

Looks like I have a lot to learn about touring car regulations :dunce:

Anyone interested?

Change heavy damage and I'll join, as will probably more others.

Sounds interesting but I'm at work at that time, so is a no-go for me. Good luck though.

I really don't think that it will affect the race too much. I also host a Nissan Z Championship with damage turned to heavy. It just forces everyone to race cleanly.

That's not the point. What he's trying to point out is that if someone lags and hits you, then your race is ruined. Hence the reason I don't use heavy damage in my racing series.

Alright. Damage will be turned off ;).

The slightest tap makes your car start to veer off to the left with heavy damage it seems. For example, I was doing a race on the Nurburgring, got the slightest bump from a laggy BMW on the third corner. Had to limp a veering car around the ring, with no hope of coming near the top of the leaderboard.

Not to mention when I think of Super Touring cars, this kind of racing comes to mind. Almost was like a contact sport.

Edit: You can count me in, just need to choose a car.

I might be interested if I can find time. Trying to organize a touring series myself.

^ Again, I'm going to need you to write your info down, please :).

What is the rule on aero? Some cars in your list can not be fitted with aero kits.
