I see what you were talking about the getting busted part, that was funny as hell. Gives a new life to the expression when pigs can fly...

Trying now. Looks like fun.

;)

I already did earlier and it is pretty fun. Sometimes its rather annoying because it just doesn't want to work and then you are thinking ok, guess i will pull off and tap it again and then BAM! :) Another funny thing is when you go off the center pole in between the center and side pole and it jerks you back and forth or a shockwave type deal happens and all your windows blow out....strange.

I tried doing the jump in a Trashmaster.

The result was hilarious... Nothing happened. So, I got out of the car and walked toward the street to look for another car. I also noticed I had my phone out. So as soon as I put away the phone, I fell back like the matrix and died deathnote style, and I panned the death-cam toward the swingset and the Trashmaster was like a little blip in the sky.

I also dropped a Jetmax on the swings and it got catapulted.

I noticed something strange at the swings not involving a auto. When i jump up as if i were trying to grab the top bar to climb up it Niko falls over and dies when he hits the ground, just as Niko died on you Omnis. He starts looking like he's dodging bullets from agents and then finally falls backwards and dies. Strange, will someone else try to climb up it and see if they have the same result?

And on a side note, heres Niko...LOL.

Taxi Caaaaaaaabbbbaa! (yelled while insanely wasted)

Pretty easy superjump-- I only tried a few but didn't get any real good ones-- a couple were decent..

Seeing it by actually doing it, it looks like the swingset not being rigidly attached to the ground is what is doing this-- seems like it is springing back into the proper place and either it hitting the car is launching it or like the III and VC superjumps-- a collision data conflict is shooting it (2 solids occupying the space).

I would not be surprised to find more of these in this game-- everyone keep your eyes open for more swing sets or other objects.

Anyone know who found this and where they may have posted it??

My guess was collision data conflict. You can see the ground shooting out and the set jumping and jerking.

I can jump over it just fine.

Thats strange, it doesn't happen every single time but i would say about 4 out of 10 times i try to climb over the top bar i just fall back down and Matrix dodge to my death:confused:

So this is at the place where you kill Clarence in one Francis McReary's missions?

I'm going to try it out now.

EDIT At first it wasn't working, and I paused it, then I just unpaused it and I was flying...very strange

Firefly projects, there is one set that gives you good room to get to them and there is another set diagonal from those on the other side of the projects that work also but theres not much room to shoot the car. My guess would be any swing sets would work, the 4 ive found have worked. I have been looking for other things that this would work on but so far the swing sets are the only thing that i have got it to work on.

Thanks for the spoiler-- luckily I just did that mission yesterday.

Good job duplicating the spoiler in the quote. wrap spoiler tags around it.

Dang I cant view youtubeb so I dont know where this is at. Sounds like fun.
There's a playground in Firefly projects, east of your first safehouse. Go there and reverse a car into the swingset and see what happens! You might have to try a few times before something spectacular happens but it's worth it so see your car take off like a crazy spinning rocket across the city!

Since you have a T-56 stuck in that Camaro i felt obligated to do this for you:sly: I put one in my 79 Malibu i had, wasn't too fun. Also didn't last too long:ouch: 455hp at the rear wheels and i can't remember the exact flbs but it was somewhere around 430. Went back in with a TH-400 and didn't have any problems after that:tup:

This is firefly projects, the red dot is where i set my marker to go there. When you get there just look around that building and on the side where the highway is you will see 2 sets of swings and a jungle gym deal there. The left set works better because of less things to get in the way during flight:) But either work. In single player just back the car into the middle pole nudging it until it shoots you off like a shuttle. You can hit it from the front but you will be shot through the windshield. The blue dot is where i found another set of swings that work also, but its harder to get to them. After a few days of doing it i got the farthest i have yet last night, made it to the ocean! WOOH! Its seems like the bigger the vehicle the farther and higher you go. I was using the police vehicle that looks like an armored truck, can't remember the name...you know it, the swat one.

The T-56 I have in my 69 Camaro has a few Viper parts inside and is built to handle over 700 hp. I think they call it a Stage IV T-56. I only have about 400 hp in my Camaro so this tranny should last a long time. (It has lasted 4 years so far including 2004 power tour and several road track events) The dual force Centerforce clutch might be a different story. The clutch got hot at the road track last year and I wasnt able to go into 5th or 6th gear. Once it cooled down I got back into 5th and 6th gear. I actually had YSSMAN with me when it happened. It was the first and only time it ever happened. I could also try adjusting the throw on the hydrolic clutch. I havent adjusted it in over 4 years. lol
Thanks for posting the location of the swings. I will have to try this for sure if I get a chance over the weekend. 👍

No problem, i figured if you can't see the video it would help to at least see a pic of where it was and how to do it. I didn't have anything fancy in my trans because of cost. I don't make allot of money and the amount of money i had in that car was just getting too much. I got lucky on the engine because a friend worked at a machine shop, so i got that beast of a 355 built for only 1,200 bucks:tup: It was a daily driver too, bad choice:ouch: Every 2 weeks or so i was fixing something, e.g. torque converter bolts backing out and breaking off, headers coming loose, breaking u-joints. Just typical stuff you would expect driving around that much power everyday. Was a pain at times. It was 11 1/2 to 1 engine so i had the timing retarded about 13-15 deg just to run it ok on 93 octane and i still had a few hiccups here and there, like when it shot flames out the carb...good by power valve!:dopey:

I finally found it using the map you supplied. First time I got it to work it actually scared me.

Cool, glad that helped you out:tup: Now you can have a little mission down time fun like the rest of us:sly:

I managed to land ON the subway tracks past the park.. total distance of 1550 feet. In the landstalker.. Not to bad hehe.

Has anyone else got a car to hit the water yet? I have got it one time out of all the times ive done the glitch, so i guess the odds aren't to good of getting it that far.

I haven't got the car to hit the water, but one time I tried the glitch in story mode when the car was fired back, I went through the windscreen, cleared the freeway and landed in the water :p Which was handy because normally it kills you.
