Those VW Unpimp ads had a whole Internet marketing campaign with them, including a flash-based joyride with Helga, where you would configure a GTI, and she would comment on everything. Here's a sample (not my site/video): http://www.vimeo.com/1845530

Do you think any guy could watch the difference in her reaction to the seats and not take the leather option when it came time to buy?

Swedes always act Germans or Russians (Stormare has been both). The guy who directed those ads is swedish as well. Jonas Åkerlund.
 
If you like cars I think you will agree this one is actually quite moving, at least I thought so as it focusses on many aspects and related memories during the lifetime of a single car.

I like this commerical because the song that is playing is so addictive! So much so that I bought the album, and saw them in concert last month!

 
I used to love these commercials back in the '90's! Everytime I hear the song "Like a Rock" by Bob Seger, I picture Chevy C/K trucks in my head!

Stumbled across some retro 360 ones, all in order here. Apparently, that actually is how you're meant to pronounce Subaru. They say it in some Japanese videos as well.

SLS AMG commercial with Michael Schumacher driving it on the roof of a tunnel. Michael stole my heart at the end with that wink!
