they pulled the remaining one hours after that one flipped. it was the second Benz that turned into a plane that weekend, too.

at least there are no fatal crashes on that page...

I saw the 911GT1 flip at Road Atlanta, i was in the infield near the double right before the back straight when it happened

When the BMW LMP V12 flipped I was actually in the pits trying to get Allan McNish's autograph

Nuts - I can't see the vision.

The 2001 season DVD has this incredible overhead view of the crash (from the digital feed, I assume).

I hadn't seen the Porsche flip before - man, I can't believe the FIA took so long to work out there was an inherent aerodynamic flaw in the rules of the current cars!!!

I heard about the benz crash, rumor has it the driver punched out the engineer for designing that big of a flaw. Rumors, don't know if there is any truth to that.
