I know this isn't a car, but it is a drawing I did. I figured I might as well put it in here instead of making a whole new thread. Yes, I know the head is horrible and overall it could be much better, but IMO this is my best drawing ever.

Take some time on you next drawing mate, and take time on the shading.

I hope not that would suck... :grumpy:

Anyways, here's one I just did out of the blue. :D

So, I had seen the Challenger concept thread here at GTP and got inspired to do my own version. Hopefully it still resembles some of it. :)

The only thing wrong that i can see is the lip on the back wheel being a little messed up, and the little scoops on the hood are a little not-straight.
I'll try to post a drawing of mine that I did 3 years ago. I'm better now, but whatever.

Here it is, if I may. Please consider that I was 12 when I did this, so i know it sucks.
You might not think so, but when you drew it, you see everything little thing that wasn't exatcly right.

If you guys consider that sucking then there is no way I'm going to post my drawings, hell I would be embrassed to post my drawings after some of these.

That's pretty excellent for a 12-year-old.

Yeah, sadly... my **** never looked that good when I was young... hell I wasn't even doing 3/4 untill about college. :dunce:

Who drinks at times, and listens to music while drawing anything. I know i listen to music while drawing.

But I drink sometimes while i draw, had moments. When I nearly spilled my drink over a drawing, but quick reflexes help to not make me spill my drinks. :)

My lastest peice called TVR Minotaur, it is a concept car design.

Some info on the design!!

Well let me start off by saying that thing on the bottom. Like on the side skirts, is like a air duct. That transfers hot heat from the brakes to cool, them down more quickly.

If you look at there back there is a black thing on the bottom, that is a rear defuser to make it more stable at fast speeds. On the hood, there is a curve in it.

That is part of the cooling for the engine, followed on the side. By other cooling. But a bit bigger version, for better cooling.

And if you look near the bottom there is 2 lights. One more thing, the side mirror, does not have a long holding pole. To hold it into postion, insted it is intergrated into the body work.

To improve speed, and not to slow it down. But if you look more into the side mirrors your see something which is pointey like, that is a curve in the side mirror. Which should also improve speed, and should have less slow down with that.

------

Look out in the future, for the X5 drawing, and a Zonda Drawing.

TVR&Ferrari Fan, please STOP double, and now triple posting. It's becoming annoying.

Nice design by the way 👍. The only thing i would say is, make sure the back wheel is circular, and not eliptical.

Didn't you see between the dates. 2 may of been yesterday, but they were posted not in a cople mins. And the one before yesterday, was posted 2-3 days ago.

Some pretty talented people in here. I was wondering if I posted a picture of my El Camino if you guys could draw it too. I looked at the ones you drew for blazin and they are pretty awesome.

You guys are so lucky to draw like that. I have all the imagination in the world, I just don't know how to put it on paper. I suck with 3-D car drawing. :grumpy:

Just start drawing... even if you think it sucks. You might surprize yourself or discover it's not so hard. I've pretty much taugh myself this whole time. Inspiration and imagination are a great characteristic to have for drawing.

VIP, I've been saying it for a while. You should add some more depth to your drawings. They look like they belong in a child's colouring book. It takes a good 5 minutes to go over some quick shading and hilighting with a set of pecils or markers. Here's a pretty bad example, but you get the idea of what you should do to get some more realism out of your drawings. It's really easy and takes 5 minutes to do.

Yes, I realize that but like you even said a long time ago, I don't do renderings. Anyway, I might put more effort into the rendering side of the drawing soon since I will have more time but I've been pretty content with just the line drawings because they themselves have been improving a bit IMO.

Actually maybe I'll just render them in PS... that would be good PS practice anyway.

You don't have to do a full out render. Just blackening the wheel wells and just sketching in some basic reflections will already a lot better, colour or no colour.
