Looks like the HSV but without the spoiler

It's surely not a Corvette Stingray, look at the front bumper and the rear, it's a little bit different.

Hmmm.... It does look a bit different.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet but does anyone think it could be the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta?

It shares soo many features with the ft86 but is not a perfect fit. Probably it might be a new ft86 / or a facelift?

No, the 86 gt is the successor to the ae86, hence the name. I'm anxious to see how the new supra looks, I'm betting that it will come from their bmw partnership.

BMW Z5/Toyota Supra maybe?

As for the cover car, I think it's a production NSX (not the concept) as it seems to have features of the NSX concept's shape and the HSV's.

It's probably a car that hasn't been revealed yet. Possibly one that will be revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show in November, around the same time of year that GT6 will be released.

Might be one of these:

I think Tokyo Auto Show is a bit late to be revealing the cover of the game.

I don't think it is, but we'll see. Of course, if the game is released before the Tokyo Motor Show that would make it a bit difficult, but if it's released during or after I don't see any problem with it.

Probably thinking way too hard about this but maybe it could be the front of the old C3 Stingray and the back of the new C7 Stingray? Don't know why they would do that though lol

Guys it's pointless posting concept cars drawn by anyone other than the manufacturer. They could match up exactly and it wouldn't mean anything because they're just made up designs, essentially.

It could be the real car that the artists have drawn impressions of but comparing the tarp to artists impressions is pointless.

I think I threw up a little...

"...it's a compact, front-drive-based sports car that will be aimed squarely at the Toyota GT86/Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ"

And throw up you should. The FR platform is exactly what makes the 86 platform great. What Nissan should say is the mini-z is aimed squarely at every other "sports" fwd on the market.

But no, this is NOT the car under the blue cover. No resemblance at all.

My only other logical conclusion is that it might be the Subaru BRZ STI, or the high-performance equivalent of the FT-86. It very well could be a BRZ/FT with wider fenders (similar to WRX STI treatment), a more aggressive spoiler, and a different front bumper from the silhouette we see.
