Car using for close 24h Le Mans Race?

i want to race the 24h Le Mas again. But this time I want a close race. Can give me some advice and expirience?

I used the Peugeot 908 hdi FAP.With the stage 3 turbo it is faster then the other LMP's. But still close enough to make it interesting.

That should breeze it unless you plan to drive for 24 hours straight where you'll need to build a massive lead when your in a fit state so when you get tired you can take it easier.

OP what car did you use first time?

I've used the 908 HDi FAP Team Oreca, and it wasn't close enough.

Yes, fully tuned. Not hard at all to win the race.

I would say make a list of cars you would be interested to drive with and do one lap with them all. That should give you a good idea of what cars would be best.

Also if you just want a close race why not use one of the cars that are in the race, Find out what hp they are running for the 24 hr and use the power limiter to get as close as possible to the competition. Use the same tires etc

hm, good idea. I think I should try the R10 TDI.

Don't modify it though, just buy tyres for it.

A stock Mazda 787B should get you close with the LMPs and keep you busy.
