Looking at this discussion it's pretty obvious we all need the network back up and running.

FYI washing a car just bought off the ucd will give a small hp bump but only the 1st time... Same thing as the oil change... Afterwards you have to race quite some time before a noticeable increase occurs...

It's worth 50cr to watch those guys wash the air around my cars. Makes me laugh every time. Wish PD would put the 'Workin' at the Car Wash' music in this animation.

What? Washing your cars or painting them doesn't even increase your HP. Also, why do you wash your cars in the game when it doesn't even change anything.
There's no difference in visuals. Just paint your cars, don't wash them, there's no need you're just wasting credits.

I've seen a visual change to my cars after racing in the rain, then washing them. I probably wouldn't notice a difference (if there is one) on the track, but I have noticed a difference in the Car Wash.
