Cars that look best in odd colors

This is not an "odd" color. Actually Nigel Mansell owned a SEC with this color. Also other F1 world champions, Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna, Nelson Piquet and Keke Rosberg all owned this car at some point.

But the color is definitely a 80'S color. The facelift models didn't have this as much. In my opinion one of the best looking cars Mercedes ever made. Bruno Sacco masterpiece.

I tend to prefer Apollos in black. This isn't an original color from Buick of the period, if from any manufacturer of any period, but it looks kinda great. It's also in...France?

Pretty close at least. Apparently called Medium Green Metallic.

Buick did a Medium Green Metallic in the late '70s but it's greener and doesn't have the white gold flop. The flop is what makes me doubt it's a factory color at all.

That Apollo also has a bit of blue in it.

Yessss. I think I mentioned some time ago about one of my uncles-in-law had a downsized Monte in a light green. I can definitely see the difference with what you mean on that Apollo.

I was browsing for a 1:64 McLaren 750S and I instantly fell in love with this color for some reason!
