is this legit? i clicked onto gtp and it said i could win a prize by doing a survey, then it asks me to pick what i wanted, an ipad 2, or 500 gift card. i clicked the ipad, then it asks me for my name, and address, email or phone. am i being tricked? lol

This is not real. Like any other ad that asks for your address, name, etc, saying that you will win an iPad, it is not real.

after clicking on the 'free sample chapter' about GTPedia, then i went onto the forums for tuning and then a pop up came up saying i was the next winner because i was the _ viewer to see this site. then asked me to choose a free prize.

Hmm, GTPlanet does not have any pop-up ads. I would encourage you to scan your computer for malware when you get a chance. 👍
