Initially running as BTC Racing, the team entered the BTCC at the tail end of 2006, fielding Lexus IS 200s for Chris Stockton and Darren Dowling. That was in preparation for a fuller campaign the following season, when Stockton returned alongside new recruit Nick Leason, who departed the fray after the opening three rounds. Stockton tallied points at Brands Hatch and Croft.

In 2008, BTC Racing continued to run the Lexus’ under the S2000 rules for Stockton and multiple truck racing champion Stuart Oliver, before replacing the cars with a brace of ex-Motorbase SEAT Toledo Cupras from round three onwards. The squad’s best result of the campaign was eighth position for Stockton at Donington Park, whilst Gareth Howell deputised for Oliver at Thruxton and Oulton Park. Former sportscar racer Stockton returns with the team – now rechristened Power Maxed Racing – behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Cruze in 2014.

Actually a pretty good looking car and livery combo, but one of the most ironic sponsors given it's performance!
