This is one of Chrome Edition Restart Racing's entries in the 2014 British Touring Car Championship, as driven by Warren Scott.

The team also runs two Volkswagen CCs, which are driven by Alain Menu and Árón Smith.

Following round six at Snetterton, Scott switched from the Insignia to the Volkswagen CC.

Chrome Edition Restart Racing began life in the BTCC as Team HARD in 2012 with an ex-Team Dynamics Super 2000 Honda Civic for Tony Gilham, who achieved a best finish of third position at Donington Park. Robb Holland and single-seater refugee Howard Fuller took over driving duties later on in the campaign, before Gilham rejoined the fray in the season finale at Brands Hatch in an NGTC-spec Vauxhall Insignia, with Aaron Williamson taking to the wheel of the Civic.

In 2013, the team fielded a brace of Insignias and a Volkswagen CC. Running under the RCIB Insurance Racing banner, the Insignias were piloted by Holland, Fuller, BTCC rookies Jack Goff, James Cole, Kieran Gallagher and Tom Barley and championship returnee Paul O’Neill, with Goff securing the car’s finest result with an impressive second place in the Brands Hatch finale. Entered as PPCGB.com/Kraftwerk Racing, the VW claimed three podiums in the hands of former race-winner Tom Onslow-Cole, who was replaced by debutant Andy Wilmot and subsequently Aiden Moffat following his late-season departure to Airwaves Racing.

After Team HARD was acquired by Team BMR, Chrome Edition Restart Racing is running two VW CCs in 2014 for double BTCC champion Alain Menu and Árón Smith, and an Insignia for Warren Scott.
