oh those are nice.. my brother had a 89 GTA a very nice grey with T roof and it was like brand new.. but it was stolen and we never saw it again. it had a corvette engine.. my brother never lost a race.
 
Oh Damn, I LOVE GTA's, I'm saving up my money for one, some guy in some small town a few miles away from my city is selling an 87 GTA for 5 grand canadian, power everything, 5 speed, V8, T roof, damn I want that car, looks brand new too
 
lol yeah... well i like those GTAs too.. but i still would rather have a 71-73 with a 455 HO

and yer monte is very good too. hey, consider this: you have a car wich weighs WAY-LESS than a comparable, older A-B body. a couple hundred pound lighter will help it. 'sides, it isnt often that you see these things done up. it'll be really sleepy with the 400 thing underhood. you may want to change the trans to some 700R4 thing or something like that, too, so the power wont spin the tires as hard. and of course, if its a v6, check out yer rear end... it might blow rite now!

lol thanks... surpisingly the other night i lit up the tires it went for 4 car lengths and was pretty dark... some ass cut me off and i had to take my anger out. and yeah my dads TA is really really ****in fast, it really likes to shoot you back in the seat.
 
i can not be silent any longer. i want to post my picture but it says my file is to big. if any gearhead is interested i can e-mail it.
its my 69 camaro ss with a 454 and a set of 4.10 gears outback.
if anybody can help me post the picture i would be very helpfull.

hey, what kinda car would u guys get if you only had 2.5k to spend on a car?
 
2.5k... is that $2500... there is a place in the next town that has a 73 trans am for 2000 but its in really great condition.. i even took her for a spin:)
 
I personally feel that they should just add a bunch of older cars including the 67 Mustang convertable and a Dodge Charger w/ a Hemi would be nice

Im STILL waiting for the pics of the big-block 69 Camaro and the new wheels on the monte. as for the 2500 question, it would be a 5.0 liter mustang. they can be munsters, and are real fast out of the box. with some 2500 in changes, they can be very fast.

If I only had 2500 to spend on a car I'd realize that i don't have the extra money to spend on repairs so I'd go for a cheap and reliable import as apposed to some 70-80's car that you don't know how long it'll last you.
 
yeah well.. in canada an import is way more expensive to run then most 60s/70s cars and trucks... imported parts can sometimes double in price where as i can go to the junk yard and scrounge for something i need if i have to and its not something like brakes.. and imports aren't more reliable.. not to mention i'm just to tall to fit into most of them :lol:
