Some good albums do take a few good listens, but what was dissapointing for me with X&Y was that, Coldplay's first two albums, I liked them instantly. Lot of kids accuse Coldplay of sounding too soft or whatever. I like all kinds of music, including the "soft" ones. But in the case of X&Y, I do feel they should be rocking harder and little bit rougher.

Coldplay is pretty good. Swallowed in the Sea is my favorite song from the new record. I don't know i f I'd buy Coldplay over Oasis, but still pretty good. 👍

It's not a bad album but definitely not a classic, then I don't think any of Coldplays stuff ever will be. They're good for the most part, but nothing special.

Coldplay sucks in my opinion. They're singer can't sing and I haven't heard anything exceptional musically speaking.

It's cool. He just wanted to give his input. And to Silencer, have you heard their first two albums? I didn't care much for X&Y either, but I thought their earlier albums rocked.

I do agree on the vocal being weak, but I think Coldplay is far from average...... excluding "X&Y" of course(Just my opinion, of course).

Coldplay is a truly great band, and this album is outstanding.

Ripping Coldplay is a lame-ass Internet fad. In some circles, its hip to bad-mouth the band. Somebody started it somewhere in some forum, and like obedient sheep, people jumped on the bandwagon in fear of seeming uncool.

I don't know about calling them sheeps. I believe that the haters of Coldplay genuinely hates the music. You are right though. No matter how they might feel about Coldplay, it's a one talented band(except their last effort ).

I think I kinda like this Coldplay. I heard a remix of Speed of Sound by Karl G. It sounds pretty amazing and the vocals are good.

I went to see Coldplay last month and they are an awesome band!! The concert was fantastic!

Ever thought it was cuz they think their music sucks. I don't go around sayin I hate a band cuz I think it makes me looks cool. I do it cuz I think they make crappy music. Here's an example I think most of the rap songs out there are complete crap.
