I was wondering, out of all the extra features PD could've implemented, how come collectible helmets and suits get the nod? Surely it's the answer to a question nobody asked
interestingly there appears to be no limit when gifting them... I used the three accounts from my triple screen system and gifted all the suits and helmets to my main account without any issues.. I have a very fine wardrobe, with a few doublers
Not sure if this is the best thread to post in but the suits your pit crew wear depending on your car eg if your in a renault they wear black an yellow suits with renault logo etc are these available in game. I know the driver wears them in arcade mode so surely they must be right?
just do the new seasonal events, i race won you get one item whether it's a helmet or a suit, i got loads of items off that, most of them being collectors items

Have a look at the posts made shortly before and after GT5 came out. There were a lot of people talking about how you could customise your Riders in Tourist Trophy and how it should be in GT5, rather than the random one time suit selection.
I like it personally, but I do think other things should have been addressed first. GT5 still has a lot of life in it yet though, so I'd expect more features to be added.
You can earn Helmets/Outfits from the Civic race in the seasonal events. You can also earn them in the Drift and Time trial.
I've also found that starting a new game on your secondary account, then gift them to your main works. Here's a tip I've used: Delete the save data after you have gifted the items, then start the game again and repeat
