I have the collectord edition and theres a feature written on it that there are 5 special car's or tuned car's sumthing written can any1 tell wat is that all about does anybody knw plz reply

The CE comes with a little scratch-off card which was packaged in the disc case with the manual. Find the card and scratch off the... whatever that substance is called. You'll find a code. Power up your PS3, go to "redeem codes", and punch in that code. You'll now be able to download the five special cars.

Did you preorder from a place like Gamestop or Amazon? If so, you were probably supposed to get a Stealth car. Make sure you have that code too - Amazon was a little slow in sending mine.

No i actually bought it from UAE,do you have any idea which 5 cars might i get?do all CE get the same cars?

can anyone tell which cars did they get?

Yep, they're all the same. They are, in no particular order, an M3, a Murcielago LP640, a 300SL gullwing, an R8 5.2, and a Cobra. All have special paintwork and slightly increased performance (I haven't figured out what the percentage is or even if it's the same for all of them).

If we restart the game several times will we get the cars again(if i delet my GT5 data once played and again start new GT5 life will i be able to download again)?

Yes. Also if more than one person uses your PS3, has an account, and starts a GT5 game, they also will have the cars.

If you install the game again then check you past downloads, you can re-download them and have them available again in GT5 (as long it's your original PSN account u're using).

@grimmi and @urinal thnx .

Yep, since the codes are redeemed through the PSN, the cars are connected to your PSN account. They will be added to any profile attached to your PSN account.
The chromeline cars cannot be traded or painted, but they do tune higher then the dealership versions. The only downside is you cannot do aero mods to them, so you may lack in downforce.

I dont care for them. The lambo is nice as it tunes higher then the SV, but I find the dealership's added downforce is needed.
The Audi R8 chromeline on the other hand, that thing is a monster. With a proper tune and fully tricked out, the thing cranks out something like 890hp and has so much grip with its AWD that it really pulls. I balance my AWD 30-70, corner hard and once you hit the apex, just plant the gas and the car just launches out of the turn with testicle-tingling speed. Ill race mine against much faster cars including LMP racers and I hear them over the mic "holy **** that thing exits fast"

Stealth cars are from preorders.
Chromeline cars are from the CE and SE versions.

The signature edition gets all the stealth and chromeline cars.

Japan players get all the chromeline cars for free as an Xmas gift.

Yes, you can use them in events. Layout, country, weight and power restrictions all apply. The only feature that doesnt is the cars year(the chromeline Cobra cannot be entered in the classic cars race, but the regular cobra can).

These are the 5 cars you get with the Collectors Edition.

•Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro Chrome Line Edition
•BMW M3 Coupe Chrome Line Edition
•Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 Chrome Line Edition
•Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupe Chrome Line Edition
•Shelby Cobra 427 Chrome Line Edition

It's also really cheap to rebuild engine and chasis restore instead of 500,000 you probably pay 50,000. I did pre-order mine from game stop but never got a stealth car...

Just a tip man, DON'T use the codes, take it to the market place and People will give you literally every car in the game in exchange for those CRAP 5.

Seriously you are not losing anything, you can get all the same cars, plus they look even better because they are not painted in some toddler's paint scheme. I am pissed I used mine...

No point. All the other cars are easy to get. Even if I dont like using my chromelines, I still like having them in my collection.

Someone will gift him a X2010 and then all the cars are in reach anyways.

This.
You can get every other car by yourself, buy/win/trade/dupe/b-day glitch, but you can't get stealth/chrome lines cars in the game.
Besides, who said there were crap? I like Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz much more, than most of so called rare cars.

Agreed. The M3, even stock, is entirely too much fun to drive to let it sit in the garage gathering dust. My only complaint is I personally wouldn't have chosen orange for it, but my son loves it.

If you have access to the Stealth/Chromeline vehicles, use them. Plain and simple.
