1st off: How am I not taking criticism? I fully understand why people would be upset, the thing that irks me is the way that people are expressing it. I understand that everyone is different, and that negative opinions are negative opinions, but there IS a limit you know. (and that can go for good and bad opinions)

Secondly I'm in no way demanding people to be like me. You should try and understand what I'm saying first.

Oh my, it seems like I've posted the same thing twice .

Here's what I was trying to say but short and sweet:

And I agree!, but I don't want them to go away. Differing opinions is what makes the world move forward. I'm not saying that they shouldn't have those opinions or express them. I'm just saying that the way that some people are expressing them is a little silly. (Even though you could say that my view on the matter could be perceived that way as well.)

Another thing that is quite annoying is people who can't take criticism of their precious GT and love feel good/say nothing statements about how GT5 will be great because it's GT5 and how much fun it will be because it's GT5... circular logic and incesant denial of anything but the positive is not exactly an endearing trate either.

Strittan you really are not helping your case!! sparkedglory has a very good point, all the whining is getting very tiresome, people are in this forum because they enjoy and perhaps even love the GT series and for people to start whining about issues that have neither been confirmed or denied by PD/Sony or Kaz is just childish. Yes everyone has a right to their own opinions and you can use the game however you like when you buy it (you will buy it don't try and deny that why else would you be on this forum posting every day and looking for more news) but as people have said we have had no cockpit views since the first GT and then in GT5P we got a glimpse of the cockpit views and now you are all getting on your high horses saying you have been cheated out of a cockpit view!! As for only driving the Premium cars and people saying its all about the real cars, surely this game has proven itself over the years to be the epitome of driving simulators and that is shown off by the physics engine not the looks! Granted the looks add a great deal of realism to the game but if you want pretty scenery then go and get Final Fantasy or something like that, this is a racing game, you should be looking at your braking points, apex's, turn in points and other drivers not the cockpit!!!

Here Here Sparkedglory, I'm with you even if the seemingly endless amount of thirteen year old brats aren't! I love this racing series and couldn't really care less about a cockpit camera, If you have a steering wheel and either the bonnet cam or a roof/windscreen cam then that is fine, the cockpit although more real draws your attention away from the racing.

Unfortunately as of yet there are none as PD quite rightly want to show off the best features to the press! why would they show low res interiors of cars if they can show purely premiums... We will get a definitive answer on this either when the game is released or at TGS/Gamescom... Unfortunately we have no proff either way just missed translations and question avoidance...

Where did I say someone was stupid for liking the standard cars? I'm sorry if I did, because yes, that is kinda childish.

And as far as I know, I can drop my opinion how often I want, as long as it's on topic.

First off, there are many people saying that they refuse to use the standard cars because of the "possible" lack of a cockpit view, and the fact that they're upscaled GT4 models. And to that I say shame on you

I could care less if they're standard or premium. GT5 is GT5 and I for one will enjoy this game to the fullest when it is released.

That's actually quite a tame one... looking back in the forums there have been plenty of circular arguments about how GT will be great because GT and KY are great and all the previous GTs were great and when something isn't in GT it's ok because it will still be great beacuse it's GT.

As I said, we all run into people who differ from us, that runs both sides, optomists and pessimists a like. However right now I would argue a lot of the unhappiness is neither and it's realists... who in this case are realizing something fairly unpleasant - especially after the optimists spent so long building GT5 up.

I think it is a general consensus that we are all still looking forward to the game cockpits or not! It is going to be epic no matter what people are saying on here they will go out and buy it and they will then more than likely drive standard and premium cars, probably due to having to purchase them to complete certain licenses and challenges!!

Me and DLC have kind of a history I saw it for the money grab it was going to be a long time ago and I have watched as people constantly deny it and say how awesomme it's going to be for the gaming community and how we won't get screwed by it and guess what... now we are.... but that's another story....

But that kind of optimism is exactly what I am talking about in general. So many in the community don't like to face an unpleasant possibility and feel that if there is ANY way it could work out, we must grasp onto that and ignore the likely reality...

I know a person like this in real life who is always saying "can't you just be positive?" I mean you could be hit by a car and bleeding out the ears and she would be saying "oh can't you just be positive?"

I have no problem wtih being positive, but whe it severely impares being realisitc... well that is just asking for trouble.

I have been saying for months (maybe over a year) that this is what we were going to get... if you want to (which I can't fathom why you would) you can go back and see page long back and forth between me and other members where I keep logically pointing out why this is where we were headed and they wouldn't have it...

I was a troll, I was negative, I was always picking the wrong details and I didn't make sense.

Well guess what? Here we are...

And you know what? A large part of the reason many of the members are so down right now is because they hinged their hopes on being optimistic instead of realistic

You also need to remember that PD probably has big DLC plans for this games which probably means more premium cars!
