You REALLY don't want to see me in a 4x4. For some reason, I get 4x4 and monster trucks mixed up. I mean, for some reason, the Range Rover I have just won't quite get over the cars I want to run over...

Anyways, still off topic, and it's your fault. Woohoo, I'm not the one to blame!

Bump. This series isn't dead.

I'm about to test the GS cars.


BTW, yup, my BMW M3 meets Turner's "unofficial" restrictions: It has to be blue and yellow.

M3 was fastest in straights.

Camaro best lap time.

370Z is worst car I drove, and needs a good tune.

RX-8 is underpowered, but handles OVERLY well.

Subaru is unremarkable (in the "not worthy of remarks" sense.)

GS class recommendations: seems decent. Include the Subaru.

I LOVED THAT CAMARO. What happened?? I hate Camaros... But, that one handled SO well...

So we could either bump the 370 to st, or get rid of it altogether. Also, were you running wing on any cars? The first post has wings on some, but I'm starting to lean towards going no aero on any cars.

I used the GT Auto wings you specified... The Nissan just needs a tune BADLY. The diff and suspension felt HORRIBLY wrong.

Yea, THe Camero Rocks with a wing on it! (Sorry for THe wacky Letters, Phones still in German)
 
I think for GT6 they need to make it so you can disassemble cars and take parts off like the GT-R and out them on the camaro

What GT-R parts would fit on a Camaro? I know that very few would fit... Except, in extreme cases, the turbo might come close...

That was soooo Out of left Field....lol! But that may be cool for Engine swaps, but Thats all i can really think of.

The wheel wells to put the tires on that's what makes the camaro so competative in the real Rolex series

Indeed, I'm ALL for getting off topic, but that really does belong in the gt6 wishlist thread (there's plenty of them!)

GS: PORCHE CARRERA, SUBARU WRX-STi, BMW M3 coupe, Mustang Boss 302R GT, CAMARO GS.R, ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE, PORCHE 997

ST: BMW 128i, MAZDA SPEED 3, MAZDA MX-5, KIA FORTE KOUP, HONDA SIVIC SI, FORD FOCUS ST-R, BOXSTER, BMW 330, VOLKSWAGEN GTI, VOLKSWAGEN JETTA, MINI COOPER S, HONDA ACCORD

Basically in this game for GS, we have the Camaro, Mustang, Subaru, Porsche 911 (RUF RGT), Aston V12, M3 and the Nissan Z. So every car in GS IRL is covered in the game. If we ran the cars at 1350-1400kg with 380-400hp they'd be great IMO. In ST, the game has the Porsche Boxster (RUF 3400S), the BMW 128i, the Mazda MX-5, the VW Golf (R is better than GTi), the Civic Si (actually the type R), the Mini Cooper S and a standard Honda Accord Type R.

Still interested in this series, though I haven't checked the thread in a while. Still also wondering what your solution is gonna be for the Mustang, if any. Again the problem is it's balance. It just eats through the front tires like nobodies business. seems weird the PD put such a front weight bias on it. I don't think it's that much different from say a Camaro in real life. And the Camaro has a rear bias weight distribution in GT5. I find this highly unlikely in real life also. Well just looked them up, Camaro is 52/48, opposite of what it is in GT5 and the 2007 Mustang is 54/46, instead of PD having it at 59/41. They goofed big time and the Mustang in GT5 just eats front tires like rubber was going out of style. I read in another thread here on GT planet that even going with full weight reduction and 200KG ballast to the rear, you still can't get the Mustang in GT5 to what the real life weight distribution is. Talk about PD porking the poor 'Stang.
 
It's true. full weight reduction with 70kg of ballast is close to 1400kg. Even with weight to +50 it's still around 55/45.
