I'm hoping to start that discussion shortly. My master plan is to run around 5 PM our time, so that Americans (North, Central and South) can join, along with Europeans. So, if we run 5 PM Saturdays or Sundays, people from as far east as Berlin will be able to join without losing much sleep. Maybe even Prague (Czech capital) or Moscow (Russian Capital.)

Regardless, I'm thinking late afternoons on weekends.

So they won't be longer than about a hour? Remember Rolex starts about 6-6:20.

No, it shouldn't interfere. One race (or maybe two) will be long enough for ONE pit stop, to avoid the epic "It's a sprint race! OMG, everyone's about to die when I get into turn one, because it's a sprint race" effect I learned about today. :indiff:

Anyways, barring some bad experiences with a series of people who aren't in this forum, I think we need to have two pit stop races, and only one sprint race.

So, it'll be three races in the ITCC:

Qualifying (maybe 4:30 PM EST)
Race 1: 4:45 PM EST rolling start
Race 2: 5:15-5:25 PM EST rolling start, inverted grid
Race 3: 5:45 PM EST standing start w/ formation lap, sprint format, inverted grid from race 2.

So, yes, it should be done at or before 6 PM EST.

Sounds fun! I know i can't wait! I actually think these will be fun even if we only have 5-6 of us, as well all be racing each other and not be split between two classes!

Yes. I'm hoping to invite all the guys from the Rolex, who don't really have a problem or crash, to join. Granted, I know Storm's out, since he can't make time, but, well, it's expected. After that, we've already got a great lot of guys.

But, I promise you, the Touring Cars experience will be very different from the Rolex experience. Mistakes will be less costly, I imagine. Mistakes will be less "one slip and you're fifty feet off course."

Yea, and you can take insane amounts of curb and get away with it! Yea, I'm talking about the autumn ring! Speaking of.... Maybe we could turn tire wear off for that race??? Lol just kidding! But my front tires aren't! Remember how bad those bad boys were smoking?!

I saw like 40 degrees of turn from your front tires, but, only like a 2 degree change in direction from the chassis. Yeah, your poor front tires... Regardless, that's nothing a softer front suspension can't help fix. Besides, as long as you don't have to pit twice, it'll be fine.

Polar did you get to watch the continental tire series race

Did you get my PM

Ok I will

i think for the higher class we use the cars that can be RM i think it would be cool and the lower class not RM or both classes RM and the lower class chooses from numbers 1-49 and the higher class chooses from 50-99

What does everyone think of my idea & polar message me back I wanna talk to you

Well, I know that the actual series runs pretty heavy cars, without much downforce (if any.) I mean, the Rolex series is pretty close to the real life series, except attendance. Why don't we try to keep it all somewhat similar to real life?

Also, the V8 Vantage thing doesn't get RM, and there are many more examples I could think of.

I can make it simple

Rm cars=not a continental tire series

Rm cars= rm car cup

Lol, and I've seen plenty of those. People really like RM'ing their cars.

Why would we use RM cars? These are Sports cars, like the series title says. Not race cars.

But, using sports tires isn't necessarily the goal for the series. Turns out, people get frustrated on sports tires.

He was reffering to the cars, not the tires... BUT people have problems on racing hards as-is, so i can only imagine racing on sports hards!

Heheh, a certain series I was in yesterday runs sports tires. I won't bring it up again, but, I now have a fear of sports tires. Racing=racing tires. Drifting=comfort tires. Everything else=not sports tires.

Yea, I saw that... Good thing you didn't do that in Rolex! :)

Ummmmm....? You saw what...? You don't actually believe the WTCC guys??

Well to a extent, you'll of course say you did nothing. They'll say your ruined the world... I did message the series coordinator to see the sevarity. Nothing too terrible, sounds more like a bad race to me! But the fact that you resigned because of dirty driving (or so it says) is a bit fishy I may say..

I don't wanna race with them anymore. After being crashed in quali... Yep, I'm done.

Well while we are off topic please take a look at my 4x4 series and sign up if you think it might be fun

Off-topic? Since when do I get off-topic? I've only made 664 posts in about three months...

Not what I meant

Lol, and that's 666. Regardless, it generally is ALWAYS my fault, when we're off topic.
