So there is an official start to my page. Enjoy.

appie17, TURBO, garnettrules21 - Thanks for the comments. That version of the NSX just looks good, hard to mess up a photo with that one.

I am new to this form and let me say that you are all extremely nice. Too nice perhaps. We have all come to this form to show off our pictures, look at others picturs, and improve our own shots. We are not helping anyone do that when we say "All your shots are AWESOME!" to every noob that popps on here in hopes that they will go to our own gallery and say something nice. I'm not saying we should flame someone who is inexpierinced (myself included), but I would appreciate it if you all would be more honest with my photos. I know from looking at some other galleries that I have alot to learn and I would love any tips or hints that your could give. If this means that you have to be critical about my photos then that's just fine with me.

Well what I strive for when taking my pics is to make the car looks as real as possible. You just have to fiddle with the settings of your camera, also sometimes you will get really good shots when watching the "drive" replay. So if your just using the same "normal" replay it automatically show, try switching to "drive" replay. But then again this is all coming from a new guy as well, but I thought I would offer my help. Good luck!

Well, okay if you want some actual criticism then your pics are alright. They could use much more editing though. The NSX pics have good angles but the car itself could use some cleaning up with the smudge technique. Using levels to add filters to smoothen out the pics can be used if you have photoshop. Also the levels could be played with a little bit to bring out the picture more as well as some saturation altering. :)

Krame - Thanks! I tried messing with the Hue on the last nsx pic but it uncovered some uncomfortable compression artifacts (the nasty waves appearing to come out of the sun) Any idea how to fix that?

Well I entered my first competition. I have no delusions of winning, espeicaly with Revolutions entry, just want to get the expierence of working within the confines of the rules. I had my wife pick out the car, car color, rims, and venue for me... which in retrospect probably wasn't the best way to go.. but I did what I could. It actually took quite a bit of work.

I took the shot with the white balance all the way to the red, then with the balance all the way to the blue. I took the background from the red shot, and pasted in car from the blue shot. Then I pasted in the windows and tires from the red shot. Then some layering and guassian blur to smooth out the pannels and finally a radial blue just for some effect. I hope you like it.

Not bad, not bad at all. I'm not a big fan of all lot of blur, blur but that looks pretty good. You should try to clean up the wheels a little more.

The weels are actually pretty smooth. Maybe you didn't click on the pic to view actual size? They look pretty rough if compressed.

There, I resized the image to 800x600. That better?

Yeah, that rear fender is a little fuzzy. If I had saved the layerd version I would fix it real quick, but it's not going to make or break my photo so I'm not going to worry about it.

I did just come accross an NSX pic that I forgot to put in. I just put it in the nsx group. Last thumbnail.

I put in annother entry for competition. I'm having trouble knowing when to stop in photoshop, but no matter what I try I can't seem to get them to look as real as most others are doing.

I've seen some nice work here. 👍 I liked the Mustang a lot, I also love the colour of that car. The NSX was even better. Your Phototravel shots are the best in my opinion, you can try to add a bit more motion blur on your driving pics, but that's just me! In any case, good work! Keep 'em coming!!!

Feel free to check my latest updates. :)

Well I was helping my boss look for cars today and I got to looking at the Mercury Marauder. I decided I could make it look better.
What do you guys think?

The bottom is the original

You have cool photos really. Good camera angles. Nice job in the Mustang and NSX pics. I´m new here too so I think that is great we learn with eachothers.

Stay tuned in GT Planet.👍
