Ok I have the Coolmax rounded cable and the triangle partby the master, slave, and mobo connections keeps in sliding off!!! Can I just cut it? I saw that this guy cut his shield (triangle part lol) and its still fine. Its the part by the end where the wires are exposed and the "V" like rubber part keeps sliding down the cable. So Can I just snip it off? Thanks

You can cut off the protective plastic shield. The shield that is made of the same material as the round outer 'coating' of the cable. Do not cut the thin plastic insulation on each wire. You can cut this off if you are careful not to cut any part of the wire. They shouldn't spark from one to the other. If they do, you have some weird cable, you then have another problem. Order a new cable if they spark.

Yeah, I didnt cut the insulation on each wire, theres no need. I just cut the rubber shield at the tip its so annoying when they kept on sliding off lol. Thanks for the feedback.
