@WIDFO have you seen and tried any of this?

I understand you are trying to sort out your issues, but, I had to avoid coming on here last night in the interest of not publicly ranting as no-one wants that :lol:

Just thought the above thread might help avoid this after the break before the European leg :D

After the 1st lag put me in the wall, every time I come close to you I was trying to just stay behind and tried not to dare to get close, but, as soon as I did get a little close, BANG, pit lane again :(

Please note, this is not me having a go, just trying to do what I can to help the situation as it is impossible to be near you on track, and really it ruined what could have been a great fight to the end between us :(

Passed the 70% mark and since pikey dc'ed as well then he wouldn't have been able to get back in

what d you mean as long as somone on his freind list was host he could have gotten back in? I mean really think about it everyone in that room is on mikey's freinds list. But I guess I shouldn't be complaining since it stops fortbo from going anymore laps down 🤬 ridiculous:banghead::banghead::banghead: :banghead: .

P.S. can we have 10 extra laps added to todays race since that is what was left for yesterdays race? it only makes sense to. I mean what is ten extra laps. the math says 9 min

He's saying that the race wouldn't be red flagged since it was past 70% completed.

but practically the whole room dc'd thats 10 laps that could have changed alot. So thats why I propose that we just tac it on to todays race say everyone ran a short final stint.

is anyone practicing now because I could use a few laps to blow off some steam

Pikey was hosting the race and as a host once you leave a lobby you can't get back in

and no i will not be adding the other laps on, red flag means the race is suspended and will resume with race 2 as normal.

and no I'm saying the race was red flagged with no possibility of a restart due to being over 70%
 
YOU DON"T HAVE TO RESTART could have made a new room, check regs (just look at everyones regs make sure they didn't change them), get evryone blue'd up start race line up (based on there position when mass DC happened), take pit lap, line up single file and start.

since there was only 10 laps left just add it to todays race plain and simple. 10 laps mate thats all it is if it were like 30 laps I could understand not wanting to because that is too much time to add to the second race and people might have somewhere to be but 10 laps will take 12 min or less.
 
probably because this hasn't happened before am I right? and rules/laws get changed everyday. the first option of making a new room is too time consuming and has no point but the second everyone knows as well as I do that ten laps could mean the difference between winning or losing Nin and memto your teammates are starting on the lead lap that's ten extra laps they could have to possibly win the race!

GTE times yesterday in the race was low 19s and the occasional high 18 when the tires were fairly fresh.
 
Guys if you clear out your "systems cashe" in options and don't have a laptop on it help everyone connection.

At least this was the case in GT5. It doesn't cost anything to do and no one needs a laptop on when there driving anyway.
