Corvette C5R

Is this car real? It looks real nice, but I was playing NFS Hot Pursuit 2 and i looked at the NFS version of the corvette, and there it was the C5R. I figure it is a real car, but I want to make sure.

I must admit i've never really driven the C5-R in the simulation mode. Does it shred tyres like the Panos?

Heh, I can't belive how many unused racecars I have on my current save.

The front tires have about half the life of the rears, and it handles like a toboggan once they do.

At least for me.

Most cars handle like that when the front tyres are knackered, well maybe it's just my driving style.

Is this just with the standard compound (mediums) or just with any tyre. Couldn't you change something in the suspension or LSD so it would be less harsh on the tyres. Come to think of it does changing a cars settings have a major effect on the cars tyre wear rates?

The C5R has been sitting in my sim garage for quite a long time unused. I only drove it ONCE.
