Well that's not good. I'm planning on moving to the UK in a few years hopefully. But this makes little sense to me. Geographically, it would make sense for you all to get it sooner, is there any particular reason that the UK store updates later than US store?

EU store updates on Wednesdays, simple as that. Don't know why.

Someone posted that the car was in Sport mode and not in track mode, I like it that way because the gauges look better IMO. :)

Agree on the aesthetics thing. Race mode will probably appear in the Race Moddeded version next time out anyway... [/wishful_thinking]

I simply want the best performance out of the car. Since we can't even feel the ride quality of sport mode why not? :P

The gauges do look better in sport I gotta admit. I won't be bothered if it stays anyway.

Not only the gauges, but the entire interior period. This is the only Corvette so far I would buy in a heartbeat just because of that interior.

Yeah, probably most people will agree with that. :)

As for the performance I wouldn't care anyways since you (probably) can tune the suspension and LSD (oh wait ... :lol: ) and get even better results.

God so this. I would love to race mod it, but I highly doubt that will happen and probably have to wait till GT6.

Did you already download the 2014 C7 Corvette Stingray from the Playstation Store? I don't think we are talking about the C7 Prototype, despite what the thread title says.
 
would you all stop speculating? turn on GT5 and read the in game news. download it for free tomorrow and stop whining and complaining. if you dont like the car, cry some more.\

also, they arent just going to remove the tarp. we are getting a whole new car.

Why can't we speculate, Have you seen the WHOLE ENTIRE GT6 section? Why can't we talk about our hopes on something that IS coming out tomorrow?

anyone else think this car is a dissapointment? i like this car from like the rear tire up. But that back end is just.... idk wtf were they thinking. I like corvettes... there my favorite american supercar infront of the viper, but this one kinda just turned vipers into my favorite american supercar as the corvette/viper models i think have all looked nice....until now. Viper now my #1 american supercar.

Anyone else kinda feel the same way about this or is it just me? At least about the 2013 corvette being a little wacky. Not necessarily the viper part.

I personally think that the 2013 corvette is horribly boring looking now that I have seen the 2014 C7 :) JK.

Your one of few, not the only one though.

I thought the back end was weird at first, and I didn't like it. But the back end really does go with the car just fine. The more I look at it the more I like it. (I would paint a few items back there though)

I think the front end of the Viper looks great except for the headlights. I think they kind of ruin what that car has going. They should have kept them more horizontal.

I am forever biased though and will probably always choose the Vette, As long as its not a C3 or a C4.

it'll be in the store a little after midnight EST as per every other standalone DLC car, only car packs and tracks are released when the store updates, although you'll have to search to find it.

My first impression was "what have they done to my favorite C6". But the more I look at it, the more it makes sense. Not as impressive as the 2009 Stingray Concept:

But to apply such design to a production Corvette would bring the price well into the six figures and that would be against what the brand is about- a high performance car at a price most can afford.
