Exactly. Watch an F1 race there (Monte Carlo); the real drivers do the same thing.

He is right, they do zig zag up the hill in the race. The also avoid the bump just before the first hairpin, but in GT3 they don't seem to avoid it....and anyway the bump isn't as big as it is in real life.

Good video, daan. It was interesting to see how he went through the corners compared to how we do it in the video game. Some of the corners looked tricky, and scary to drive through, because there were no barriers like there are in the video game!

Oh yeah, I've noticed plenty of bumps in the game...:p

Well, I guess driving from the 3rd person view doesn't really let me see much of the bumps in the track, if there are any at all...:p

It's either '89, '90 or '91. Senna was changing gear manually there.

The first F1 car with a paddle shift was the Ferrari 640 of 1989 driven by Mansell and Berger. It won the first race of the year in Brazil even tho' it never did more than 5 laps in practise without breaking down!

Cool clip. I can really see the difference between the real thing and our "Blue Coast" course in GT3.

Does anybody know how many race events they hold in a year at Monaco?
