CRAP pCARS 2 ClubPS4 

Hello. Im Julio. Some of you may know me from the PS4 community, and those who know me may also know that im planning on making a project cars 2 "revival" championship, taking advantage of the great variety of classic racecars in the game. Down below you have an excel file with all the races and dates. If you are interested or have any questions, email me at jorgebarracuda94@hotmail.com. I am from argentina, so I may take a while to answer your emails. All events will start at 20:00 english time, with 20 minute qualy and then the race. all races are held taking the crap rules into account, so read them if you havent.

Edit: Various people have been telling me that they cant race because of the starting time. any Idea of how we can make this more suitable for everyone? Thank you

Yes yes @nosoks , from January the British Hamster will be in Argentina after being in Spain for 12 years.........What a combo!!! :D

I spent the last few weeks trying to claw my way up the driver safety rating with public lobbies and regularly get completely rammed off track for no reason at all. I finally understand that the only way to avoid that is to join a league or club! I'm not the fastest guy out there, but love the game that I play with T3000RS a few nights a week. I'm in London (GMT). A few years ago I joined a league on GTI also play GT Sport but it's a love hate relationship right now...

I'll add the few PSN IDs I see here and hope I'll be able to see you online soon!

Thank you for the fast reply! I'll be online later tonight. First I'll be tinkering those annoying T300RS pedals. I don't know if anybody here uses them, but I spent a bit of time adjusting deadzones and travel, huge improvement and quite easy to do.

I am only rarely on at the moment (some of the rest of the group are though) . Unfortunately as of yesterday our Internet connection is going down every couple of minutes so I won't be on until it's fixed.

Ok. Just joined a lobby hosted by tw166ycoolwright. The car choice is a beast, trying to keep it clean! Glad to see this community alive!
Good luck with your internet... These days it's almost more needed than running water :D

Thanks. It's BT Infinity and I haven't had any problems with them in years. I think it's probably the hub on the blink or our connection has somehow been damaged by the moderately bad weather.
 
Hi all,

I have a question regarding racing etiquette. Sorry if I missed it in the rules. Do you allow "return to track" button or is that banned? I used it a few times today out of habit and was wondering since some clubs prohibit it as it alters realism.

We wouldn't normally use that no. Doesn't mean it's banned. I don't even have that button mapped to anything on my wheel, ds4 or keyboard. I'm surprised there isn't an option to not allow it online yet.

You may race against some people through the community who don't necessarily race with the regulars on here. The rooms you find linked from there will sometimes include only one member of the community. We don't impose any rules on the psn community and hope that people self regulate. Any problems let us know though. In the end the PSN community is a way to recruit decent members/friends but not a guarantee.

The organisation of any racing tends to be from the message group which I've added you to kr historically also on here (GTPlanet). Of course we can get interest from the community too by advertising races there.

So, i have safeully landed in panama and im about to go on other plane to mexico. so i will use this time to tell you this:
So, im travelling with my mom, and on the last few minutes befor getting on the plane, I decided to search " British Hamster" on google, because I didnt know what it was and i didnt want to ask you on here.So im with my mother and decide to look it up, but what i found on google was very different to the cute hamster in your post; the first page was a porn page which said "british hamsters on *porn page name*" .
After this, i decide to look on google images(bad mistake) and what do i get? well, a lot of X rated images. so i close google as fast as i can. But it was too late, mi mother had seen it all, and when i looked back at her, she was looking at me with the most dissapointed and disgusted face i have ever seen in my life. so now, can you please tell me who the british hamster is?

Honestly! Haha. Thanks for the invite, I'll send you a friend request. I like your choice of cars and tracks! By the way did you make it on purpose that none of these awesome locations are on GT Sport? :D
Unfortunately I'll be away on the 6th and would miss Hockenheim too so I don't think I should book a seat since I can't commit fully. But please do let me know next time as I'm always interested in clean racing!

A quick update after spending quite some time joining online communities and trying to increase my safety ranking. I finally made it to D but it wasn't without struggle. Even with the community system there are tons of dirty racers out there and I think most communities (not saying it's the case here, I don't even remember which lobby I was on on that video) don't / can't enforce clean racing rules. See the quick video below. I'm in the 911, I saw the guy in the SLS go off track a few corners before and rejoining like a maniac so I lifted way early to let him go by and do his thing. As they say in click bait articles, "what happens next will surprise you". Well not really... Honestly!!!
My plan is now to join lobbies with D level minimum and continue the climb, or join private events from clubs like this one. Good luck to U levels starting now...

Lastly just my two cent on equipment. It is SO good to play with well calibrated pedals. If any of you play with T300RS pedals, they are sometimes not setup properly (beginning and end dead zones) but can be adjusted fairly easily. 0 deadzone and 100% travel make such a difference in powerful cars / tricky consitions.

Ahhhhh yes "The Hip And Shoulder" as it's known..........At least he didn't get away with it too!! A real pain these cheats that have to ruin it for those who just want a hard, close battle!

But no worries with that in CRAP Club chaps, it's as clean as a baby's bum here!! ;)

Oh yes, that turn at monza is always a pain to go with another car! I can't tell you how many times I have gotten divebombed, pushed, pit maneuvered,rammed,

And it's because people get desperate and try to brake later, thinking they are Daniel frickin' Ricciardo and can divebomb everyone, and when they try, it always ends with you on the sandpit and 10 less points in your license.

Aaaaaand there is also the typical guy like the one in your video, which in my opinion can't even be considered a racing driver.

@HammyMansell Are you going to participate on the revival championship? It looks like it's going to be fun, we have 11 (12, but the 12th guy hasn't confirmed the seat) and a commentator. Can you take part?

Hi @JulioChecchi4 i'd love to take part, but on the 11th of January i'm moving quite a bit closer to where you are now lol. My PS4, wheel etc are all packed away for the journey.
