Since everyone seems to want a pandemic, here goes my storyline:

After the M.S.S.R decided to blockade Madagascar for fear of a pandemic spreading, the Madagascarian locals gave the troops meat as an offer to please leave them alone. They did not, but some troops who ate the meat became sick after returning to their homeland, they later died, as well as their families.

LOTF scientists later looked deeper into the Ebola issue, and discovered something terrifying: the Ebola virus could not only transfer through meat, but air, water, and animals as well, sort of like a mutated form of the original virus.

To their horror, they found out the disease had already spread to the Carribean mainland. Thousands have already perished in the LOTF, and now, the disease has been trickled out from the Florida Keys to USS land...

PANDEMIC RULES

- A mod will decide how much damage the pandemic has caused to you and how close your vaccine is close to completion.

The NEF is prepared for protection against the Ebola virus. All trade and travel from and to foreign nations has been halted (temporarily) and all foreign-made products and meats and whatnot made 1 week before the outbreak had been detected.

In addition, those travelling to our nation will be forced to leave immediately. Those who do not comply will be shot on sight, followed by the burning of their corpses. We will not kill our own citizens, unless the pandemic reaches here and becomes very serious.

Anything for the safety of our citizens, we will keep fighting relentlessly against this disease.

President Usain Bolt has halted all trade with all nations. We have declared martial law and declared mandatory cerfews. In Madagascar, we have blockaded the island with 1M sea troops. Any violators will be shot on spot.

Havana has become a war zone. Thousands in an angry mob rushed to the capitol, demanding food or death, and protesting martial law being declared. They may storm the capitol soon...

I'd give you some data on what the scientists have uncovered, but since we're now technically Southern America vs. Upper-Class Europe (my nation is supposed to be elitist and stuck up), that won't end well...

We lose 3 out of 150 scientists researching the pandemic. They are currently in the outskirts of Madagascar. They are not allowed to return to our nation until a vaccine is found. Who shall be the mod that decides what happens? I'd vote for Mag.

Oh crap. Although our public becomes angered we desert the blockade we have sent and seal off the MSSR completely. All of my mainland territories build great wall of china-esque walls around their borders, and all of the troops within hunker down for defense. My capital Hawai'i stops ALL trade and threatens to shoot down any nearing ships/ planes. Since I am an island and I am completely isolated from any mainland, my capital will be safe. Martial law has been issued and all able civilians are now soldiers.

Everyone should PM me their vaccine details and their science budgets so I may approximate each empire's own time for completion.

This was a good thing to keep us on our feet.

Also, one sample of the virus has gone missing. It's whereabouts are unknown.

North California has been sealed off and civilians are being evacuated to my underground shelters. They are first screened, then they are treated for any open cuts. Doogerian land will have the same procedure. (YES! I knew my bunkers would come in handy some day)

I am going to postpone the Olympics in fear of infection.

Those crazies... I am denying any kind of ships/planes in all of my territories. If anything, I will order my men to sink those ships. I will be sending 50 F35 Lightnings to sink them at sea if they approach.

A group of people with HAZMAT suits we're seen in Rome. They gunned down security and released the virus near the Vatican. Their ideantity is unknown.

Also, the USS is using their recon radar, which is still up, to track every single ship and plane near our land and all unidentified craft will be shot down if they remain on coarse.

The remaining survivors, looking for somewhere to hide, decide to go to Bermuda.

When the survivors reach Bermuda, the scene is hellish. Dead, rotten bodies, with pistols next to them with some of them, lay in the streets. Some survivors witnessed a mother and her baby jump off a building...

Meanwhile, a group of 1M Bermudan survivors are tired of living in this hellhole. They sneak into Bermudan warships and attenpt to plead with the NEF....

Begging and pleading will not help. Our military has warned all of it's personnel not to accept any bribery, and to avoid contact with any of the infected attempting to enter the NEF.
