Hmm, seems PSN is up for Japan, cause earlier it let me reset my JPN PSN account password and sign on...

Confirmed.

PSN Asia is UP

The looong waiting is over

That hopefully means the store will be up soon.

So, if when the PS Store comes back online, will it be a new shopping experience or is it coming back with only a security update?

I'm kind of hoping it's taking so long to come back due to all the much needed changes in the menu/interface..

I would say just a security update because the last thing they have time for right now its tweaking the UI. I'm starting to wonder if they will even meet their own aim of getting back on by the end of the month. Fingers Crossed.

I can't sign into PSN, same with other people's?

Yes, can't sign in either. This is getting a tradition on sunday.

Oops wrong thread :dunce:

Do you get error code 80710092 with, "An error has occured you have been signed out of PSN"?

Is this 1 of the following things

1. Hacked again
2. Maintanance
3. PSN Crashed

Sony said this would happen, can't log in but can stay logged in, when the PSN store is going to come back on. So maybe it's coming earlier than expected...
wish I had stayed logged in.

I got logged out around the time it went down.

I just signed in to PSN again

That's good news, now it's just the web going really slow or crashing when ever I try to read websites about the PSN news or the official PSN blogs etc. And internet in general. Maybe thats what happens when 77 million people can't log in and go searching websites to find out why?

Hehe....made my day. :)

I'm in South Texas, and I received this same email, whose subject line is "Identity Theft Protection Offer for PlayStation Network and Qriocity Customers" at 5:03am CST on Friday, May 27, 2011, or two days after you did.

Sat, May 28, 2011 at 6:15 AM is when I got mine.

Earlier than expected? i thought they said by the end of May, only couple of days left.

in minnesota and still can not goto the PSN store. I also can not sign into gran turismo.com to remote B-spec. Guess I will just keep checking.

I was just online playing GT5 and on the chat screen (on left side) it said "PS3 is being hacked" in pink lettering and 5 seconds later it said "turn your PS3 off".. Everyone in the lobby got offline.

I hope this is not true, has anyone else seen this??

I have. I also saw that it said my info was being comprimised. I stayed until I wanted to leave. You know what that means? PSN got hacked again. Assuming of course.

That's just some dorks signature. You can set it up to say anything you want when you join lounges etc and when you win and when you leave.

Lol someone commits a crime that catches attention. By the next week gone by there has been 64 people calling in with dark voices claiming they did it.

Shocker. But by all means, freak out if you must.

Well its the 31st of May, AND NO PSN STORE! WHAT GIVES SONY? :banghead:

Wait man.

It was different messages btw and cleared the whole page of text with spaces.

I know one think for now....PSN is down in Greece (UK server).
