Just read on PSJ that LA is online now. Either way I guess it will be bout Midnight when I get online.
 
As the blog is updating currently it's been throwing service errors out but it appears as if the NE has gotten access first.

Why does us.playstation.com homepage say "Consumer alert: PSN unathutorized network intrusion" in bold red? I can't look at the map getting a error also.

I'm sure the blog subdomain is getting slammed right now so the map will take a little bit to propagate

Of course PSN goes back online when I'm too busy to play! :P Here's hoping that the sucker is fully functional when I get a chance in a few days. These weeks did go by fairly quickly, I have to admit. I barely hard a chance to get annoyed.
 
Has anyone else had to deal with the certification process via e-mail? My first PS3 is toast. The way they describe it in the blog, you can only certify your account via email if you "never downloaded any content" on the PS3 which is just a stupid thought.

Downloading 3.61 as I type this, in Australia. I R EXCITEDED!!

Edit: Not as excited as I was, PSN is still down here :(

Yep New England is up and running. I'm in New Hampshire and can logg back into PSN finally. :)
 
I had to reformat recently so I haven't been able to link my PSN account to my new profile, so since this new update requires me to update my PSN password, what should I do now and when PSN cones back up?
 
no new seasonal events yet. Just the Classic Muscle car championship that went live just before the outage.
 
Up and running in California. The PSN Store isn't up yet though.

The free games are for every PSN user I think, but I honestly think they're going to be small, unknown games :yuck:.

They never mentioned games. They said we will get " free entertainment content " - Games,movies,dlc,music Whatever your interpretation is they never promised games, so don't get your hopes up.
Better to have no expectations and have them exceeded than be dissappointed when there is no chicken inside the egg.

Just called PS Hotline for Australia. Apparantly they're doing them in batches so we've just got to wait country by country and see when we are up and running, but the comment from the operator I got was "sooner rather than later" for us here in Oz. đź‘Ť

We fall under EU for whatever reason, and from what I can tell the rollout there hasn't even started yet.
