Would you be interested in a Suzuka 600pp, RWD cars race only @ xx:02 :17 :32 :47 ?

My setup is stock except I lowered the car down evenly, thats all. As for lap times in free run early today I was getting 2'15.6's, but tonight I couldn't even put one lap together and the best I think was 2'17 :indiff:

Part of the reason the pulled away was because I made way too many mistakes, mostly with shifts and the odd overshoot. Yeah I would to try your setup, I'll check it out (but probably not tonight)

You're fast.:) Didn't even change the gearbox? Maybe that's why you were missing shifts.;) I was getting 2'16s on clean (but at race pace of course) laps, so that would explain it. I had a couple overshoots as well, one left me in a bad position and you couldn't avoid me. Sorry about that.

No need to be sorry I was a klutz out there, nothing went right.

Oh and yeah standard gearbox, most my missshifts were on heel-toe downshifts I think the gears are spread a little too far and when I was prodding the throttle on downshift I was over doing it and GT5P saw it like a powershift and sent me into neutral, which didn't help the cars balance on entry either.


I will admit I did fool around with a spring rates and toe earlier today and although I noticed changes in the car I didn't really get any noticable gains so I left it on default for now as I got sick of fiddling around and went off for some GTA :p

Nice. I don't use clutch, I use paddle shifts, you really are a good driver.:nervous:👍

Hopefully see you on track - Didn't have any competition the last two races I did.

I'm still struggling with starting on the right side of the track. Sometimes a quick AWD car has to avoid me. It's annoying!

Hmm, did a 2'15.6 in a stock Corvette with nothing tuned but the gearbox. Might be able to hit 2'14 in this one, but for now I'm going to bed.

Ouch a 2'12.9 in race, no wonder i was having a hard time in my NSX keeping up or fending you off in the F430. Great time Dan and i might have to dig out the f430 too :P.

@ Ren-Tec, is your name anything to do with Renault?

Back on topic, I can now consistently do mid 13's never higher than low 14's but unless I got slipstream I'd never be able to do a 12...

Will be back in this event, after F1 Qualy.

20-30seconds re-start sound like the best idea, last few races everyone looks like they're in confusion lol.

Actually, I did not, I had open road in front of me. :) Ran another 2'12.9 earlier while racing Mr_Volcano. We have had some really close battles today, as always Richard, great racing you. Back after tea. 👍

Then I've got big respect to you, Hyper UK.

Can't wait to join a race with guys who are quick though.

So boring putting 2'07.xxx's in when you're in 4th or whatever, racing against guys in Corvette's with 650pp.
 
lol, My car is soooo slow comapred with evryoneelses, but then again it may just be my driving as I wasnt been smooth at all. See you guys online in about 30mins or possibly a bit before

Great racing! Man, that california is accelerating fast out of the corners.....

Ok, was a lot of fun today, I'm going back to a Farcry 2 session, see you tomorrow.
