CyberPunk 2077

Are you talking about basically right after Act 1 after Takemura finds you? Gonna put the next bit in a spoiler as it's about the events that transpire before the end of that with Jackie:

There should be a side mission where you call Mama Welles and she should give you Jackies motorcycle after his funeral or something like that

It was a bit into Act 2
after the Disasterpiece mission. The next mission was 2.5KM away. I started running, but ended up stealing a car along the way. Shame there were no parked cars to steal. Then I ended up doing that side mission to get the bike and the start of the Delamain missions to get the car back.

The bike is better as it's easier to get through traffic.

I noticed a glitch when doing a burnout. If you go into photomode and then exit, it will continue the burnout with no input. Then youwon't be able to drive forward, and you'll go reverse when you let off the accelerator until you step on the brakes.

Of course there will be a fix, but it's now holiday season so no timelines. And I wouldn't worry about the size of your save game unless you did a lot of that buying/crafting/dismantling exploit.

Turns out i wont have to wait at all, Opened Steam to see another 2GB update with these notes.

Hotfix 1.06 is now available!

Quests
Dum Dum will no longer go missing from Totentanz entrance during Second Conflict.

PC-specific
Removed the 8 MB save file size limit. Note: this won’t fix save files corrupted before the update.

Nice!

Here's the console side:
  • Improved memory management and stability, resulting in fewer crashes.

It's a shorter list than last time. Wonder how this fairs for the base consoles.

I’m playing on Ps4 base model. Not very far into it yet, but I was really amazed at how high the level of detail is in this game. Yes a lot could be improved and performance takes a big hit but man do I see the love that went into this game.
I really hope de developers don’t lose their heart over all the complaining. I mean, they really poured their hearts and souls into this. Maybe it wasn’t/ isn’t ready enough, but man it is amazing that this running on a base Ps4.

I really feel sad when the public goes all-out on the studio for this game. I remember the studio receiving death threats for delaying the game. Now the public is outraged by the studio that they released the game in this state. It is all because the demand for this game is incredibly high, because it is a game where so much love and artistry have been put in.

And then yelling that management is to blame and should be sued.... well let me just say that that is a bit childish in my opinion as the game has been delayed a couple of times.

I hope they’ll be able to patch the up so that in a while everyone can enjoy this game to the fullest. I am sure I will☺️

Completed the main story and I think about 33% of the side quests/gigs. Now create a new V in a new 'clan' and start over again.
So much to be done and then still just walking, driving and riding around in greater Night City.

Besides simracers I never had that addictive feeling for a game in another genre. This one does! This game takes you by the throat and you want to proceed. So immersive - and as written earlier - the atmosphere helps a lot. The weather, day/night, the vistas. The creators did a tremendous job!

I'm rather humbled by the notion that cars are still going to have wheels and tyres in the future. No stupid propulsion or hovering systems for personal vehicles - just for drones and AV's (is that what they're called?) which I like.

Got a series x and looking for that next gen feel. Is this worth getting?

Or do the bugs ruin the experience and it would be best waiting 6 months?

Game looks interesting and apart from wrc9 cant really see anything next gen that takes my fancy.

Yes. If you like Action RPG games, then Cyberpunk may be up your alley. There are still bugs (CDPR is knocking them out though and at a damn good rate) but there's enough charm in the story, side quests and what have you to really get into it. Could it be better? Even without the bugs there are certain omissions where I find myself asking why this isn't in the game. Like, there's no casinos or anything to spend your Eddies on...in a place called Night City.

There's no car customization which CDPR themselves said they were very surprised so many people wanted that — so that's most likely something they'll include down the line. As for what's here now, there's enough for at least two separate playthroughs.

Definitely worth it. Just bear in mind, unlike WRC9, there isn't a dedicated next gen version yet. Its just the standard version running at max. Next gen version coming 2021 some point.

Considering how many different color types of the same vehicle are roaming around, I'm surprised they didn't at the very least include the option to select them.

There also needs to be a mass craft command, I am not going to sit around for 20 minutes crafting health or grenade items over and over again..ok yes I will but still.

Great shots everyone, Really doing the game justice:tup:

Anybody got any favourite cars they seem to gravitate to? The Aerondight and the Caliburn are awesome but anything a bit different? The tiny little Makigai Mai Mai is surprisingly fun, If a tad bit unstable

I dont have any of the cars over 100k at the moment cus I end up constantly buying the lower end cars lol. I was using the Quadra-66 Avenger for the majority of the game but just purchased the Quadra-66 Javilina - it’s just as fast as the Avenger, except it can replicate those same speeds off-road as well.

What about music stations? I always tune into the jazz station, Royal Blue I think it’s called? Gives off a nice Cowboy Bepop vibe to me.

Yeah I stuck with the Avenger for a while too, First thing I thought was Cyberpunk RTR Mustang and bought it immediately.

As for the Radio, Mainly the laid-back feel of Pacific Dreams or the Generic but catchy Pop of Body Heat Radio

Cars-wise I recommend dropping 115k on the Shion Coyote, it's very rad. On my second playthru I've been driving the Thraxx Jefferson (2nd pic) and a few more anonymous vehicles. Just bought the Thornton Colby "Little Mule" too and it's a lot of fun. Bike life is a good life too.

As for radio, I've been flicking between basically everything, but I love that they pulled no punches with putting some black as all hell metal in with Ritual FM and there's a good mix of dark synthy stuff spread across the other channels. Sometimes it's time for that techno focus zone with Pokbac, other times kick back to the jazz flute on Royal Blue.

I think you can spoil yourself with the batman Caliburn and the other high end cars - the other stuff might not do 200 but can be easier to get around with and more fun in corners. The Coyote is the most fun handling car I've driven so far, it can pitch a decent powerslide.

I have a new favourite blunt weapon. Too bad I can't post pics in here as it's quite NSFW.
Just recorded a 2 minute video of me facing down about 15 enemies with it and one-hit-killed them all and I can’t even show anyone .

Ok, after about 80 hours I’ve finished the game. Did most of the main side quests except for fighting and driving ones as those mechanics are not satisfying. Hope they improve it for next gen upgrade. Another note is that after patch 1.06 crashes have reduced significantly, which is great, but by that time I was mostly done.

Overall, I’ve enjoyed first 50 hours or so quite a bit, things were getting better and better, then at some point you become too OP and game starts to become too easy and at that point you also run out of the good side quests and you’re mostly left with gigs, which are nice, but not as good. Main story was pretty good, probably will have a go at the other endings and see how things play out. In the end, I’d say I’m mostly happy with the game and if it launched with what is version 1.06, I think I’d say it runs acceptable on next gen. Probably will take a break from the game until the next gen and/or expansions come as replayability is not really there apart from different endings. There aren’t really any choices to make other than whether you want to complete side content or not. That’s my biggest gripe with the game, in addition to late game imbalance. Still, I’d say it was worth the money in the end, just the marketing oversold the game a bit too hard. Let’s see what happens next. They have a chance to make this game better and closer to that original vision. For now, I say farewell Night City. I’ll miss you.
