Am I the only one that doesn't like Yamagiwa + Miyabi? The lap is just too long and a lot of the corners are very similar.

The two "hairpins" where you switch from Yamagiwa to Miyabi and vice versa I don't like at all, especially the one at the "north" is a complete mess in my opinion.

I’m in love with that 4C on Dragon Trail II
Just did two races during lunch time.
Qualified 2nd on both, Won one and finish 2nd the other.
Can wait to try again tonight!

I also love Dragon Trail II, in my opinion it's much better than the regular direction, as the chicane doesn't have that much of an effect. On the regular Dragon Trail the chicane is like a lottery. You can be fast at the rest of he track and gain compared to others, but still you have to play the lottery at the final chicane and risk a lot there, as the guys behind you certainly will, and you lose an insane amount of time on the long straight after the chicane if you slow down a bit.
So for me the regular Dragon Trail mostly is whether you are lucky in the chicane or not (of course it's also skill, but I often see even pretty good drivers crash there, because they have to risk too much).
On Dragon Trail II you don't have a long straight after that chicane, so you don't have to risk everything there, but still all the curves on the track are very challenging, especially the long S is much more challenging downhill in my opinion.
Therefore I greatly prefer Dragon Trail II to Dragon Trail.

It makes no sense indeed; so far it's the only car this has this interaction as far as I'm aware. You can test it extremely easily, just look at your speed crossing the finish line with ABS off vs default.

I tried this now, but didn‘t see a difference. I tested this way: all assists off (except ABS fully off and on default) and did a full stop at the white line across the street near the pit entry (where the curbs on the left hand side end), Then I went to 1st gear, hit the brakes, full throttle, go off brakes, accelerate and shift at max rev and stay on the outside line.
In all tests I crossed the finish line with about 160 km/h, no matter whether ABS was on or off.

I did the Gr. 4 race with fuel consumption.
Dialed down my fuel map a few times in the race between laps, and managed to finish the race without pitting at all.
Didn't prove a good strategy though, still ended up 11th without any spinouts.

I did one race in the Alfa at dragon trail and hoooooly crap, A LOT of dirty drivers around. Even when a guy went off i passed him very clean, almost opposite side of the track, When he rejoined he still tried to push me off track thinking to keep his position. Had a lot of that happen from different people.

Fun car in that track but the people make it a pain

daily races today :D

who do you think is at fault in the second one?

as you can see im braking pretty early, didnt want to bump the 2 guys in front, didnt expect the German to take a move, he was pretty far behind and the speed he hit me makes me think he was not going to make the turn anyway? very frustrating as I lost 8 positions.

Beetle drivers in race c.... no words about it. push from three different in a single race out of the track/line. Damn crashkiddies, really, they are so stupid...

The complete day this track was really playable, now it's get terrible :(

Enjoyed yanigawa Miyabi today. Got my best results in SRS cat. Though Think we could do with some daily race variation. A 20 lapper would be good with a choice of tyre types to throw more strategy into the mix.

What a joke...

Has anyone had the last place car (which I had lapped), intentionally take you out from first place?

This happened to me on Brands Hatch tonight lap 4/5 with a fairly comfortable lead. Things like this will make me stop playing the game.

I have played FIFA and get plenty of idiots disconnect, however, when that happens you win. Surely something like this needs to apply. A ban for 3 races or a earnings multiplier??!!

I've been rammed by lapped traffic before, normally at Blue Moon, but not very often. Sounds like someone who was having a terrible race and was fully in the red mist zone.

Hopefully after a few months they will have all left the game. I enjoy the racing but must learn not to avenge poor driving as my rating is suffering.

....
He doesn't like ranting, tries to remain positive, goes on about counter steering assistance.
Its like skid recovery force from GT6.
TCS slows you down, Counter steering assist makes you quicker.
He does a good lap without assist, then uses assist and goes .5 quicker with worse lap.
He probably needs to acknowledge that it's on weak by default if you use a DS4, and that those who use the standard controller for the system that the game is on would be severely disadvantaged if they couldn't use it during sport races.

If you try the Daily Race C at Yamagiwa+Miyabi today then try the GTR as it doesn't have to refuel (even at the richest fuel setting) and seems to have reasonable pace. I did pit for tyres, but it jumped me about 5 places and ended up winning the race from 12th :)

Porsche RSR responds well to Daily Race C, qualified second(unexpectedly) and won the race. Although I was short on fuel and had to run 6 lean for a couple laps as I accidentally didn't refuel enough at the pit.

I spent another day working on my Porsche 911 RSR livery so I guess I'll use it tomorrow :p

New one today, some guy comes back on the track after running off wide and is still driving slowly off the racing line. I think finally someone who gets it, merge when it's safe. At the last moment he swerves in front of me (on a straight), to steal my momentum? SR Down for me, people behind caught up, and he misjudged the speed difference and lost control, spun out. A/S...

I had one about 2 hours ago. I was suss straight away because of the no qualify time and from japan. I started in pole at brands and met up with him on lap 4. I changed my race line and screwed him up, but I knew his intensions.

Had enough of dive bombing now. Absolutely smashed some people into the barriers and quit the race.

No more clean racing if you aren't doing the same.

Eye for eye now.

I think we were in a race together today!?
I was nearly at the same point! So many divebombing M4s, it wasn't even funny. Especially that one Italian I had to race 3 times today... :grumpy:

It also gets annoying to only see M4s the whole time. Why can't people not choose on their own? Instead, they see the Top10 using M4s, so it must be quick.
I hope next weeks update brings some more balance to Gr.4

This is a shame. I have found myself doing the same, however, trying to make an effort to let things slip-get on with it and race. There is always another race and a chance for something competitive (not aggressive) there’s a difference!!

So apparently I was wrong with my "tests" and the Lancer in Race A really is much faster with ABS off, all top times without ABS....

Where do you guys set the brake balance to with ABS off for the Lancer in Interlagos?

I set mine to 0 but it’s just preference. Set it up to your driving style.Front up=understeer= better straight line braking, other way round is opposite.

was excited to see Nurb GP for Gr.4, but, not going to play M4 racing...
off to league for me.

It's a hard track to pass on. Try to qualify high and be defensive. I use the 86GT

I am not sure yet what my driving style without ABS is, at the moment I would be happy already if I didn't slide like a puck on ice when braking "into" the first corner (it's less "into the corner", but more in a straight line right into the barrier - and the barrier in the first curve in Interlagos is quite far away from the track ;-)).
Installed this "conical brake mod" for the pedals and it helps in the other corners, but in the first corner where I come with higher speed and need to reduce it a lot I am clueless, either I slide off or if I don't hit the brakes fully I'd need to brake like 200m before the curve, not around 75m where the braking point should be.

Haha, same here. I also received my T3PA pedals 3 days ago and had to relearn braking. I set my conical mod to long travel. Believe me, its definitely just Adaption and practice.

Yesterday in one race I was THE ONLY GUY not using 911 RSR or M6 GT3 in DR A/S race. Sort it out PD.
