I'm not seeing it. We down in DR/D drive whatever the 🤬 we want and the only time I see any trend is when DR/A+/A/B pollute our grid.
I'm sorry, I had to reply with this.

A race later, I went with Shortshiffting at 1/4 - 1/3 of the rev limiter and got through the race pretty fine with 2% left of fuel on the NSX. It just won't overtake anyone on a straight. Corners though...
The 1st place that pitted was 8 secs ahead of me, and I finished 8 secs in front of him. so no pitting is the best strat imo.
Got second losing to Fuvaros again. He's just darn fast . Only held him a lap just because we're both clean.
Its a fantastic track to race close. But some people are still pretty green on lines and brake markers.
Is shortshifting that effective? I can double the distance (=no pit stop) with it?

I couldn't agree more man. I got the game late last year and have never experienced a good Viper racecar. They lack the essential lariness of the road car and the supposed v10 seems to pull like a vauxhall vectra compared to most anything else. I like using a broad range of cars but there are a few I can't bring myself to drive because they're so needlessly uncompetitive.Someone report that post.I'm kidding, but on a serious note:
I am a Viper fanboy. They were the cars I used on the 2018 FIA races, and they were fantastic. Weak in the turns, obviously, but when it came to speed, thedanger noodlesVipers turned into hunters.
After the Vipers got nerfed harder than Jeff Kaplan nerfed D. Va and Mercy to limbo*, they became a sad pair. This gif perfectly sums up how I feel after they got nerfed to irrelevance:

And with the physics update that came in May, their understeer has become so bad, a charging rhino has less understeer than the bloody Vipers. If I want to make a turn, I have to go to a stupid turntable that those train yards have so it can rotate the car towards the direction I want to go. Sure, the Viper Gr. 3 got 1% more power. It's a start, but its weight needs to be reduced (along with the Gr. 4) so it can actually turn. I've talked to one of the top Dodge drivers from last year's FIA season, and he agrees that the Vipers are (now) simply too weak to be competitive.
I remember, when it was Goodwood with Gr. 4, I was able to get a pretty good time. I think that time would have been at most 1 second behind the top time in North America. But to get to that time, I had to thrash the Viper around. I had to really force the Viper Gr. 4 to turn. So now imagine it with tire life on... Yeah, those tires are not going to enjoy a single bit of the race. I did a race on there with the Viper, and to put it nicely, I unofficially became a representative for Morton Salt. #BuffTheVipers
I would LOVE to drive the Vipers again. I want them to be as competitive as they were before. But at the current state that they are in, I'll be using the Rhino Gr. 3 and Gr. 4. I'm A+/S, so if many people in A+ and other DR's are avoiding the Vipers, then we have a problem.
I normally don't like to rant about how the Vipers still need buffs, because the last time I said anything about it, I was on the verge on making my senior thesis on this thing and turning it into an academic journal. Okay, I kid about that part, too, but it's something I won't shut up about, so I'll shut up here.
Notes:
*At one point, D. Va and Mercy had overpowered abilities, so the Overwatch developers nerfed their abilities so they can be more exposed to their counters.
I spent half an hour typing up this post. What am I doing with my life lol.
Down to a 36.2 now after chasing @Oshawa-Joe for a bit, Great Lap man! I can’t quite catch you, yet.![]()
That lap’s good for #6 in NA as of right now, yet it’s only good enough for #5 on my friends list.![]()

Good lap! I got my time down to 1:36.3xx. Watched the emea #1 time vid, and I lose 0.8 sec in sector 1. Total 0.9 sec slower, so need to improve a bit.
Nice to see that you turned cones off, they are in the braking line at last turn..
Will hunt that 1:35 time later![]()
I took my Sambabus to Horse Thief Mile for some testing, this morning. I turned on BoP, which made the power something like 290% of stock horsepower rating (I think the total was 98 hp). I slapped on some Comfort Hard tires, and hold cow, that thing was all over the place. I think I will definitely want tire choice to be a variable that's included in our random race selection. The comfort tires make it feel like your driving in snow, even in a car with under 100 hp.
So, I think that car, track, and tires is all that we need to be choosing in the shuffle racing. BoP and no tuning should be standard.
*Hey does anyone know if there's a way to do a one-make lobby race? I looked at the settings, and only saw vehicle classes.

It even works at the higher levels. I did a race last night in the Lexus where I started 17th, drove in FM2 for the first 8 laps while short shifting, and then started pushing. I basically sat in 20th just off the back of a group saving fuel until the last 6 laps where people started pitting and then pushed like crazy and was up to 8th on lap 14. Unfortunately I didn't quite get the fuel correct so I ended up having to save on the last lap and dropped to 10th but that isn't too bad when you have Kie, Firestorm and other proper drivers in the race.It can be quite effective. Depends how many others are doing it. At the lower levels it often doesn't occur to people to even try. I was knocked down to last place (P20) at T1, yet finished P8 with a no stop using the Viper. The other fuel saving technique that goes along with that is braking a bit earlier and using higher gears than suggested.
Think I may have to give the NSX a go for the first time ever if so.
So has anyone tried the Lambo in Race C? ive done some laps to post a time... but unsure how the fuel/tyres will cope in a full race
I’ve seen people racing the Ferrari there and making it work, so it maybe doable. They’re both completely changed after the update.
I’ve been trying out the Supra and loving it, but more and more people seem to be heading towards the 911 and R8. What gives?
I suppose there is only one way to find out... i will report back when ive found out how far it will go 👍
Yes. The feature was added in the last update.
Welcome and good luck but looking at your times you won't need that muchHey guys, new member here.
Tried a quick quali on Sardegna B last night, managed a low 1:21... Got a TT of 1:20 last week (All Audi - though I think I can reach 1:19's with the Merc)
This track is fantastic.
