The Viper is widely considered to be ass-tier
Someone report that post.

I'm kidding, but on a serious note:
I am a Viper fanboy. They were the cars I used on the 2018 FIA races, and they were fantastic. Weak in the turns, obviously, but when it came to speed, the
danger noodles Vipers turned into hunters.
After the Vipers got nerfed harder than Jeff Kaplan nerfed D. Va and Mercy to limbo*, they became a sad pair. This gif perfectly sums up how I feel after they got nerfed to irrelevance:
And with the physics update that came in May, their understeer has become so bad, a charging rhino has less understeer than the bloody Vipers. If I want to make a turn, I have to go to a stupid turntable that those train yards have so it can rotate the car towards the direction I want to go. Sure, the Viper Gr. 3 got 1% more power. It's a start, but its weight needs to be reduced (along with the Gr. 4) so it can actually turn. I've talked to one of the top Dodge drivers from last year's FIA season, and he agrees that the Vipers are (now) simply too weak to be competitive.
I remember, when it was Goodwood with Gr. 4, I was able to get a pretty good time. I think that time would have been at most 1 second behind the top time in North America. But to get to that time, I had to thrash the Viper around. I had to really force the Viper Gr. 4 to turn. So now imagine it with tire life on... Yeah, those tires are not going to enjoy a single bit of the race. I did a race on there with the Viper, and to put it nicely, I unofficially became a representative for Morton Salt. #BuffTheVipers
I would LOVE to drive the Vipers again. I want them to be as competitive as they were before. But at the current state that they are in, I'll be using the Rhino Gr. 3 and Gr. 4. I'm A+/S, so if many people in A+ and other DR's are avoiding the Vipers, then we have a problem.
I normally don't like to rant about how the Vipers still need buffs, because the last time I said anything about it, I was on the verge on making my senior thesis on this thing and turning it into an academic journal. Okay, I kid about that part, too, but it's something I won't shut up about, so I'll shut up here.
Notes:
*At one point, D. Va and Mercy had overpowered abilities, so the Overwatch developers nerfed their abilities so they can be more exposed to their counters.
I spent half an hour typing up this post. What am I doing with my life lol.
