I would love to see Race A with tire wear on, everyone just understeers like crazy with the fwd cars. Tire wear would make it a much more interesting race.

the 908? I was thinking about switching to this (from the toyota) just because of the speed of that thing, but how does it do with fuel? I'd probably pit at lap 3 anyway, but just wanted to absolutely blast round with full speed for most of the race.

You will need to pit for fuel only ,it's good on tires .In my opinion the 908 is the best all around car .Hope this helps:gtpflag:

We had the same Evo X race at Nurb at least twice before. I think it's a good combination, this car and this track, but they could have changed it for now. Remember when we had these daily races on tsukuba and suzuka, where we could only pick limited amount of N300 JDM cars only? I think that would have been much better there. I can imagine NSX-R being the fastest all around due to it's mid speed and top end, while GTRs and RX7 being more stable and easier to drive. I think it would have been an interesting race.
 
I am running my bb 4 to the front, also running auto trans. Shameful i know, but i kept getting lost in the gears so i switched it and it seems to be where i want it in all but one or two turns. I also just did this....

I don't really have words.... i thought i would be lucky to hit a high 07, and i know i can hit that optimal.

Did my first Race B. QT 8:17 ish. Started 3rd. Held 2nd until the last bit. Finished 3rd. Clean bonus.

A car behind was closing in at the end so instead of risking it in the turns. Very carefully moved to the side and I slowed to let the car pass. They tried to follow the draft and accused me of brake checking. :lol:

I struggled with understeer too, mostly with the TT, but I started to rotate under neutral gas and then floor it when pointing the right way. It was actually faster.

Yep, engine brake helps the car rotate. I lost time doing this.
Need to run corners with throttle on.
All and all the front grip is just ridiculous and has nothing to do with real race cars :lol:
TT was .2 sec slower for me. RCZ had better front, but it seems to lack some umpf.
Didnt test megane at all. :cheers:
 
Nooooo I was up to 9 CRB in a row, working on 10 and I binned it going through Tear Garden as 3 cars were wrecking in front of me :(.

If you get a Gr.1 car, you can do Monza or Miyagi in 10 minutes, for 330,000 Cr. each. AI are easy to pass and the pace is quicker(so it's not boring).

Thanks man. I still don't think of myself as being fast, and i suppose i am not compared to the top tier of drivers. So i am fairly proud when i can put down times anywhere near the top ten. Also, to my fellow qualy lap heavy friends, i truly believe i was only able to shave so much time because of running the race 7 or 8 times this morning with some very solid competition. you never push as hard alone as when your fighting to keep up or that little bit ahead of a real competitor. After the races i had today i knew i could cut my time by a fair amount, i could just..... feel it

You’re not supposed to use your good account for back starts, that’s what Alt accounts are for. ;)

Thanks, that’s my go to car to race with. I was more wondering what’s OP/Meta for Q times this week. It’s usually the R18 or the Peugeot on this track but we haven’t had this combo for a while so I wasn’t sure if things may have changed with the past couple updates. :)

NA top 10 list is mostly Alpines. Some guy in Japan did a 3:17.5. I haven't checked to see what he used.

I used the TS050 to set my time, which is dead last in the NA region. 👍

Edit: I don’t like the Alpine, it’s got terrible brakes, or I just suck tonight. But I’m gonna go ahead and blame the car anyways. :lol:

I dunno, his ghost took off on me after the first corner and I didn’t get a licence plate number. ;)


Edit: I decided to head to the Nord after a few failed laps at Le Sarthe, I’ll try it again tomorrow. Not bad for only 1 and a half warm up laps. :)

If it wasn't for me feeling like we enjoy different disciplines of racing, I would have sent a friend request already. But, we might have to put some R4M accounts on each others' friend lists.

Works for me, I usually try every race at least a few times by the end of the week. This last one was a rough one, got knocked off twice and accidentally bumped 2 guys off and had to kill 6.5s in penalties going onto the big straight. Oh well, them’s the breaks. :)
