Aaaaand, I'm back. Did everyone enjoy pinball last week? Sorry, I mean Tokyo.

Not entirely sure I'll be racing on my EMEA account this week. I distinctly remember my race pace being way off last time we had the Gr.1/La Sarthe combo. I'll qualify, and try a few races on the Canadian account, and go from there.

Happy with my quali lap, though. Especially for a Monday. Currently sat at 456th in EMEA.

The fact that you think B SR is clean just strengthens my point. No one wants to race in <A SR lobbies, but do what you want man.
B SR can be clean for a lot of people. It was mostly clean while I was there considering I'm on a controller. There's always gunna be dirty racing in every category, just some more than others. Maybe you had bad experiences, but for me B B on a controller was good enough for me... doesn't make me a dirty racer for being there... Every category is clean until someone hits you.

All kidding aside, great quali lap and congrats on the sub-500 spot on the leaderboards. Race C is really top this week.

Reaching level 50 is the killer. That takes a lot of XP farming.

(raises hand), erm, entrenched DR/D driver here, also level 50 :p.

At least the TS050 brakes well. It's bloody scary when your in the GR.C Jag and someone is close behind you for the braking zone...

Which is why my pre-race greet is "Warning: Group C car, I brake early!" ;)

I'm getting disconnected a lot between quali and the race... It has happened at least 4 or 5 times in the last week.
Anyone else impacted?

I had a nice B race Yesterday. It's funny how many people still don't know how to drive the ring properly. :boggled: it's been there since GT4, right? They still try to out break the opponents as a move... If anything, this track rewards early breaking and early apexes.
Yesterday , at least 3 dudes decided to break late at the end of the final straight... While maxing out a heavy sedan, I don't know what they were expecting. Luckily one of the ghosted through me, the others got in the grass without hitting me. 3 easy spots..

I was talking about dirty air before my last race, this shows it pretty well. The other driver (Steve) was a lot quicker than me but couldn't find a way through for 2 and a half laps just because of the understeer you get following somebody. Also, If you're ahead at Indianapolis you're pretty safe for the rest of the lap so I let him pass at Mulsanne corner twice to be in position to draft back past. As soon as he got through he cleared off for an easy win but the fight was good fun whilst it lasted.

Side by side from Indy all the way to Maison Blanc...

Brilliant stuff.

Yep, me too. I had a busy week with other stuff so only got chance to do about 7 or 8 races all week, and the disconnect happened 2 times.

Had a good few laps at Autopolis in the Audi TT.... I still a few tenths left to scrape together before I'm happy :) but I wont be trying the other cars as I tried them when the game came out and they drove horribly imo :P The TT is pretty smooth though I gotta say ;)👍

There has been a lot of updates since release and they drive different. You should give them a try at least

so a couple of race C's last night with y'all across the pond and the SR is rising.... absolute shambles in the DR though.. you know the score - you're belting down the Mulsanne at 200mph with a car doing 215mph fast approaching and thinking.. 'please don't go for that lunge and try and outbreak me into this chicane because it will end in tears for all parties concerned' :scared:

Need to do my quali for Race C today. Last time we had this combo in June I put in a 3.24.3.

Quick question for anyone who has run it:

Is the pitstop viable now it's changed? Last time out it was the Toyota or you had to fuel save lol.

Toyota is flat out with no stop. I saw a few other cars pitting, but they were no quicker than me in the Toyota on lap times.. so unless you just want to give it a whirl in something different and try some race management then it's still Toyota.
I'm not sure i answered that right.. but i'm in between phone calls at work and trying to multitask my brain

Thanks for your quick reply! I raced with the TS050 last time out and found the fuel save monsters would come back to me at the end of the race which led to me not winning lol. I pushed hard all 5 laps in the Toyota but couldn't hit that top step in many attempts.

So maybe i'll try the stop this time and go full pelt in something with more top end. If the time difference is similar with the stop then I should have fun overtaking along the way!

Anyone know which GT league race will give me the most bang for my buck?
Once you've exhausted the Circuit Experience and Mission Challenges, the best earner I've found is Professional League - All Japan GT Car Championship @ 200K per race.

Edit: If you do it right you can get the "low performance car bonus" (or whatever it's real name is) +20 or 30% and the clean race bonus +50% will give over 300K per race.

Pay no attention to no tcs at start or my rusty driving lol
But it was quite entertaining at start but i was losing pace quickly so there was no point for me to defend

I think that is the hardest of the cars to drive. Sirocco or TT are the only ones I get along with now. Before the second to last update I always ran the Mégane. Sirocco with BB 0 or TT with BB -1 for me.

Premium Sports Lounge, BMW M3 Sport Evolution '89 (power down to N100), cut all the corners. 270k credit, almost 6k xp. 100% guaranteed win, but "long" (18 minutes).

Give the other cars another go. There have been some updates to handling physics and the Scirroco is lots better than it used to be. One of the others doesn't like me, but the other is OK.
