I'd say it could be simple TLA envy. The minute you give folks a title it goes to their head, dress them in blue and they'll hate "the reds". They should all join with 6BK and not give a 🤬

I’ve actually been thinking about jumping ship lately, there’s isn’t a ton of “team” activities with CnF like I thought there would be, no team practice sessions or team races, team information sharing sessions or the likes, at least not that I know of anyways. I actually may just make my own team, I was gonna ask @Mistah_MCA if he was interested in co-captaining a new team with me, I just need to think of a good name.

I think I found the worst car for Tokyo this week. Atenza, from doing 2:14 laps in Ford GT, McLaren BMW and Huracan, to 2:19 laps in the Atenza. I double checked if I had the right boots on :lol:. It's very unstable as well.

I got it up to 2:16 with drafting start and end of the lap (2:13 doing that with the Huracan...) so slow. Even hugging the bumper of a McLaren BMW right out of the hairpin and drafting all the way, the McLaren still opens the gap to over a second.

That 12.30 (your 2.30pm) race was a mess, for me at least.

Got punted into the barrier at the hairpin, not once but twice.

First time, actually got spun around and hit the barrier deep into the hairpin with the arse end of the car. I get the 5 second penalty and reset to before the hairpin. Instigator got nothing. They did apologise at the end, so that's OK then ;)

2 laps later, got punted at the hairpin again, no penalty this time, and none to the punter, but again I get reset to before the hairpin and lose 12 seconds!

I did gain 1790 DR points though :)

You could just call it TLA.

Or you could take @sturk0167’s lead and go with PFGT (The People’s Front of Gran Turismo), or even GTPF (The Gran Turismo People’s Front)...bloody splitters.

I tried that turd first. I found it ok in the turnd but it dropped anchor when you hit the straights. That thing lasted only 1 race

I did think of Daily Race Crew(DRC) though, I kinda liked that one. I’d say it’s the front runner right now since you also thought of it. :cheers:

As for the co partnering part, I just thought since you also like to help people out with your videos that the main team concept of helping each other out and racing clean may have been right up your ally. No worries at all if you can’t though, but there will always have a standing invitation for you to join though once it’s up and running. :cheers:

The video guides you make each week would already be one of the biggest contributions anyone could make, so any team stuff you could also attend would just be a bonus. No one will ever be able to make all team practices and events. Real life always wins out on that front. :lol:

For the most part I’m thinking something along the long the lines of practice lobbies the night before/and maybe night of FIA races(I’ll be starting to enter these soon), and then the Saturday night Daily Races could be the other team event(anyone who currently races with us on Saturdays would automatically be on the team if they wanted to be). :)

Also, for anyone who races with us on Saturday, how would you guys feel about the races moving to Friday nights instead? This would allow us to still race and then I could also start doing FIA races on Saturdays. :)

GTN, GT Nation? RTR, Round Table Racing?

I actually just thought of "Saturday Night Racers" as a team name (shamelessly stolen from your sig) :lol: It wouldn't affect me sadly, 3am is still 3am :p

But, it could be Mid Night Club MNC, or FNR, Friday Night Racers. Switching to Fridays could also allow guys who do FIA races to participate more with us, without conflicting with the FIA races. :)

Or FFR/FNF/FNFR, Fast and Furious Racing.

I'd be able to make Fridays more often since there aren't any FIA races and I almost never have to wake up early Saturday mornings. And now that FIA races are longer and timeslots are more spread out, I'm less likely to make it to the Saturday Night Races.
 
I’m convinced that all this racing in the rain is making me a better driver. This morning I finally sussed out the final hairpin, able to execute a somewhat proper line rather than hanging on for dear life. I see it in a way I’ve never seen it before.

Racing in traffic is a whole new ball of wax now too, something I thought I was getting good at. Now I just let a driver go first rather than risk unexpected sliding and punting. I’ve also found that hanging back can lead to easy opportunities, another thing to remember in the dry.

Gotten way more zen as well. I’d spend the first few laps mad at the guy that punted me repeatedly only to punt another guy myself and suddenly I don’t feel like yelling at the first guy so much. It may be my imagination, but worrying less about all the chaos and just expecting it somehow keeps me out of trouble. No clean race yet but plenty of finishes sans red dot.

Being a TTG member, I understand a few teams hold grudges against us, some warranted, some not. Regardless I assure you none of the TTG boys will be losing any sleep over it. :cheers:

Cool, thanks for the info. I was more just curious as to what had happened is all, I have no hard feelings towards anyone on either team, or any other team. :cheers:
 
All these acronyms are fun. Is there a way to change my GT Sport name that I don't know about or do I need to change my PSN gamer tag?
