What brake bias should I put to Mercedes SLS GT3 '16 GR.3 at Dragon Trail?

If is needed/better to be changed from 0.

I think BB is really down to personal taste, individual car and also can vary by track.

I hear lots of people recommend heavy rear bias on brakes, and I have used that on occasion (eg; 5 rear on the Subaru IOM car at the Bathurst daily last week), but the grp4 M4, that I usually drive at 2 rear, worked much better at 2 front at Bathurst last night (significantly shorter braking distances).

You need to test for yourself and see what suits you.

650S is one of my favorite cars, but surely not in GTS, 650S had brought me nothing but bad luck in race C's.
It brought me countless wins and joy in lobbies but after that experience, yeah I agree with you. Lobby wins and Sport mode wins are mutually exclusive experiences

On (yet another) side note, I had to quit the last Race C I had so far because of wheel problems. It suddenly felt so much heavier and lost its FFB. I also had to turn the wheel so much more that I lost my rythm. I didn't change any settings either, nor did I tinker anything around with the wheel. This happened mid-race as well and I spun out many times. I quit after the third lap because it just felt so weird and so I won't be a distrubance to other drivers*. It's a G29. Anyone else experiencing this?
*But mostly because I'm so embarrassed and frustrated that I quit

Same here. Actually, I tried Sport Mode again today after almost 2 months aways. However I did in a secondary account.

Dunno if it’s just me, but several times I thought I was going to get hit from behind or sideways and it just didn’t happen. I’m not sure if I got lucky in matchmaking or people’s driving behaviour is really changing as the online mode evolve. I did 2 races with the one make in Brands Hatch and 1 at Monza with the Lambo.

Maybe, maybe I come back to play Sport Mode regulary.
I noticed that cars are ghosted more quickly. Today I knew I was getting hit from behind but the car came halve way through me :P

Suzuka with Gr. 3 cars in race C is much fun. I did 2 races with a QT of 2:03 but managed to get a QT of 2:01 just now. I will do some more races today. Also I had a miscommunication today with a British guy. He accidentally hit me from behind and let me pass, but I didn't noticed on time and was going for a slip stream. So I bumped into him lol. Sometimes I wish I could wave or horn :)

Just finished Manufacturers race, I was 3rd - and SR S back, from B 58!

So, 3 races today, in first fall from S to B, second even lower B and third... S

I'm stuck in PD math net

In most games I like about 55-60% front brake bias but in GTS I find keeping it at 0 is fine for me most of the time. The only time I give it more front brake bias is when the car is heavy with fuel.

From Suzuka on Sunday, basically I got shunted off the track at the chicane on the final lap but the guy justified his actions because "I started it", at no point did I take his position aggressively. Just a bad sport IMO

Sorry, but WTF.
There was no gap for you in Dunlop as the other guy drove the fastest line throught that corner which is to „run wide“ on the entry to exit faster by hitting a late apex.
And the penalty in the Esses was also deserved since you rearended the green car and sent it through the ghosted one.
EDIT: Also you slowed down on the racing line. Even tho there was nobody directly behind you please tell me more about how slowing down on the racing line „doesn‘t get into anyones way“

Anyway, I only did a few C races today, qualified with a 2:00.012 in the AMG. The race with it and the race with the Lexus after that were pretty lonely, I had a gap of 2-5 seconds both to the guy in front of me and to the guy behind me most of the time and only gained positions by drivers that crashed or quitted out. The 3rd and last race I did was in the Atenza as I usually was quite competitive with it in Suzuka. However this time I didn‘t stand any chance against the Porsches or almost every other car and only held my position because I was lucky enough to not spin out for once :D
One incident left me speechless in that race tho, driver in front of me (S/S and a lot faster in the Porsche) spins out in Dunlop and recovers rather slow, I close the gap quick and would‘ve passed him before Degner if he wouldn‘t have decided to block my overtake the second I was almost beside him. I then shot him into the gravel and received a 4 second penalty which I could gladly scrub off without losing positions as I had a good gap over the guys behind.
After the race I asked why he did that only to be asked why I couldn‘t pass cleanly  Said he blocked me and was then told that it was his right to do so...

At least I was able to recover some DR points I lost yesterday 👍

Yeah I think we’ve already established my pass at Dunlop wasn’t the best.

And if the penalty was for rear ending the green car, it happened because he brakes in a tight train of four cars due to the car coming back into the track when he really shouldn’t. I use bumper view and couldn’t see that quickly.

I don’t see why you’re worried about where I served my penalty as like I said there was no one behind, I could see that from the times on the leaderboard during the race.

these things happen in online racing games .. theres no point trying to look down on the people you race with because the stuff you did wasnt any better from their perspective. if i imagine myself driving behind you, all i would see is a guy dive bombing, serving penalties on the racing line, and running people wide on fast corners. instead of trying to change stuff you have no control over you should work on the things you can change like your racing intuition, reaction speed and your DR rating

Raced Daily C a few times. I learned something valuable: You do not want to start Suzuka at P9 with this new rolling start system. The race begins right when your car is swinging around the last hairpin/chicane/whatever. It's basically the worst possible moment to gain control of the car.

On the plus side, it gave me incentive to improve my qualifying times so I started consistently higher in the grid.

Well I crashed at 6mn.45 cause my baby was crying. So I pressed pause to take care of him. Then I wanted to recover the track but the game didn't want to remove the autodrive. Is that normal?

You inspired me - say hello to my Audi M4

Triumph! I survived Monza today. There were a couple race in the beginning where I could not escape the carnage, yet I clung onto SR.S and made it back to max SR with a bunch of clean race bonuses. Finally a car where people can locate the brake pedal.

Of course some luck and paying lots of attention to the rear view mirror plays a big factor.

Why do people dive bomb T1???

Avoided, then he stopped to serve the penalty straight away.

This one tried a shortcut

The game spawned a solid ghost on the driving line, cheers PD.

His second attempt at a short cut

Not sure what was wrong with him. That's a S/S driver with 62k DR. Perhaps he had a stroke.

I swear you and I both encounter the crappiest drivers.

Slt Litchi..

Did you post the right video clip?

That replay you posted had the message saying you were DQ'd because of your penalties?

I'm not sure, but I think if you get too many penalties it automatically DQ's you.... It was something PD added in one of the recent updates..

Just raced twice at Monza both started at pole. Pole car seems like the target of divebomber. I got punch at the 1st concern of both races. Finally got 2nd and 6th respectively. Lost 50 DR and 8 SR.

Suzuka might actually be dirtier than Monza today. The daily C has too many SR points to squander so bump passing and even a blatant brake check on the straight are back. (for which I got 5 sec penalty, nice one PD) One driver hit my behind 3 times and after the third time, bumping me wide he tried to rub through my inside. Then in the chat he complained I should watch for cars on my inside. S/S....

My SR stuck to 99 anyway, getting hit 4 times per race still keeps the SR positive. Penalties are a lot better, it's now less than 25% that you get a penalty for someone driving into you in a corner. I guess it's determined on which car is ahead at the time of collision, as the only time I got 1 sec is when the car on the inside slightly wobbled on the edge while we were dead even, penalty for both. No penalties for any of the bumps from behind.

It's very satisfying to see the bump passers slow down after their dirty pass to serve the penalty and let you ahead again. It's starting to work!

Finally... got a win tonight... first win since ~October.
Full field of all Dr.B/Sr.S on...
Suzuka.
I qualified 3rd with the 991 RSR (2seconds off #10 on the leader board, my best ever)... in a big Corvette and Viper sea/sandwich...
1st place and 2nd place were dueling hard for position from the entry into turn 1, and I held back waiting for the inevitable... holding back was allowing 4th to close the gap... concerning... 2nd place got loose all alone out of Degner... wobbled... I eased off, he/she almost gathered it up... but finally could no longer fight it and went out into the gravel in a controlled skid/slide... I got by, and into 2nd... 4th(now 3rd) closed considerably.
Had a gap battle with 1st for the next 3.5 laps, I'd gain an itty bitty bit, then, give it back, and so it went for the next 4 laps, thankfully, 3rd and 4th were in their own battle and falling back... ever so slowly...
Leader/pole sitter finally made a mistake through 130R exit... and... I got by while he/she was recovering (still tank slapping) heading to the chicane... held the gap through lap 5 and pitted for tire/fuel (brain fart and took too much fuel, but, worked out...) ... came out 2nd with the pole sitter on my tail (re: fuel)...
Held position and got the lead back due to the leaders pit stopping at end of lap 6... and, thankfully, during lap 6 the pole sitter makes a mistake and hands me a 5.xx second lead... with 4 to go.
I slowed up my pace just a bit (breath... don't screw up...) to manage tires while 2nd (previous leader, and pole sitter) slowly chipped away at the gap... arg...
With 1 lap to go, the lead down to ~1.0xx seconds, and tires in great shape I stepped it up ever so slightly on the last lap...
Win by ~1.3 seconds.

My first win since I was Dr.D/SR.E... yes, I was "that guy".

+1300dr... and, while no "fender to fender" I could have easily got tangled in the 2 incidents in front of me... but, having let out, and got by, I maintained Sr.S(99)

oh... was running the "Miller High Life" livery from @Setter_Garage... that guy can "paint" a car!

Race B - Monza
Had two races in a row where I missed the braking point on first chicane as I was too busy watching the other cars. Rammed the poor guy infront
but I got no penalty prob as I did not get any advantage. In general all the Race B races have been enjoyable tonight.
I'm posting this race that was nice and tidy.

I'm posting this race that was nice and tidy.

That's the problem with many drivers, they focus too much on the car ahead and when the car ahead goes off the track, so does the driver watching him. Focus more on the track and apex and watch the car in front of you at the corner of your eye or slightly off focus.

I wish I had read this before racing tonight. For some reason every race was full S/S and A/S (im B/S ) and my 2:02.xxx quali time was good enough for a 15-18th start in each race. Had enough time for only 4 races (well 5 if you count the disconnect at the beginning.) And every single one of them I was punted off either by someone not braking at the final chicane (4x in two races) or someone trying to force their way past me at the hairpin.
I was expecting more out of the A and S crowd but you're not kidding it was a rough night on suzuka. I prefer the stricter penalties so people dont act like 🤬
I hope this doesn't continue cause all of my races were ruined by this behavior.

As a side note: did it feel more slippery than usual tonight?
