If Anyone has seen the Perrier decals or this livery in game for Mustang could you
link search tag?
I am gonna try to make this green car if it’s not available...I bet it’s in there already...
For alt races I think a target measured q would be fun, just so we can get together ahead of what happens end of this clip.

@doblocruiser They touched you and then went off the track with all four wheels just afterwards so penalty. The game sees all instances of this as you pushing them off the track, had you gone off the circuit first they would have be blamed instead and got the penalty for it. So yes this can be (and is) gamed, at some tracks more than others. :dopey:

A bit hard to know whether your opponent did do it on purpose though, it's a 50/50 chance to me looking at your video.
Of course all this is avoided with a little bit of careful driving as you say but some drivers don't do that sadly and yes I'd be annoyed if I got a penalty for that too. :irked:

Almost got whipped into oblivion at one of the fastest parts of the track. As a bonus I got 4 seconds as a thank you! Just how is this possible? Not saying the guy did this on purpose but shouldn't he simply have backed off a little?

Yup, this is a thing now. Get behind a car, initiate contact, drive off track. Four times this week I think. And that penalty pretty much does for your SR points for the race.

Oh, damn it!
The last couple of days, I've been collecting the decals to make you a Perrier car. :grumpy:

I did one Spa race, this morning. Didn't start off too damn good. I made a tiny bit of contact with some moron, and he completely overreacted. No sweat. Next time I see him, I'll overreact, too. :mischievous:

Later, I got to watch Sven have a nasty fight with a South American fella. It was pretty funny.
I ended up catching a stray bullet because I was too close.

I have the replay, but I guess it's up to Sven if he wants to show it.
I have no problems at all with what went down. I knew what what going on. I was thoroughly amused, but at the same time, I was standing by to knock that guy out if he shoved you off the track. 👍

I couldn't drive the RCZ worth a damn, but @Voodoovaj did well in the race, using the same car.

I was kinda embarassed to ask....

Please please please please please please please @sturk0167

No Perrier decals here, but I do have two cars that will match it perfectly when you find one. :D

Is there anything more deflating than qualifying say half a second slower than the man in front, battling hard but fair for 4 laps then ... then ... he doesn't pit. Ever. Like what the hell.

If you lap the track like you are fuel saving and you lap against your qualifying ghost, you may be surprised to see how close you would be in pace.

Ferrari 458, needs almost no work with fuel but is a bit tricky to drive and tyres need special care. For me it is the best car, I can do 18:44.xx without any problems. The nature of the race doesnt allow to go much faster than that though. I would say around 18:40 is the limit.
You have also Huracan, second best probably. Not enjoyable for tho, needs alot more fuel saving.
Porsche RSR is a safe and good car to use, but certainly not the best.

Yes, I am going to vote for the Ferrari as well. It's often one of the best cars for fuel saving races. I haven't tried it enough this week, but I am seeing people flying with them and not stopping.

That’s awesome.
I will run anything made by @sturk0167
tho. I searched but couldn’t find last night, haven’t started on anything myself...
I borrowed a Waltrip livery last night just so I didn’t run the stock stang livery.

Just to be clear, I didn’t make them, I just found them lol. But, now I want an #3 Intimidator Livery, I foresee a new theme coming soon. :D

Here is the run without any pitstop and some fuel saving in the Citroën. Shift at 7500rpm! I got in a lobby that was much stronger than usual for me so the result was kind of surprising :D Only on the last lap I went through the revs. Oh and watch those tires! They stay in great shape 👍

great job! Solid and consistent driving all the way... i thought you were going to catch #7 on the last lap 👍

Spa is infuriating. Spent a good 45 mins chasing @Mistah_MCA's ghost in the 'Vette.

From the S/F line, I can stay within a couple tenths. Short shift up to sixth before the left at Eau Rouge, and the torque carries me down Kemmel with ease. Either pulling level with, or passing his R8 ghost.

From Bruxelles, to Campus, I lose a colossal 2 seconds. From Stavelot (where his ghost usually resets) I'm as fast as he is.

Lots of work to do. Mostly in figuring out braking/turn in points.

TLDR: I'm properly fast in the fast bits, and suck at the twisty bits.
The likely reason why my ghost opens a gap there is because the R8 can easily rotate. It'll lose a bit of time on the straights, but makes it all up on the turns. From Bruxelles to Stavelot, the R8 flows through those turns so nicely; easily rotates, which lets me get on the throttle sooner. I had a 17.9 with the Supra before this, and that thing didn't like to rotate as much.

I prefer the "Mistah is better than me" theory

Nah, the 'Vette can definitely rotate, with the brake balance 1 or 2 clicks to the rear. I just need to be smoother coming off the brakes, as weight transfer seems to really hamper corner entry. That, and I need to get better at the twisty bits . . I'll give it another shot tonight.

With Spa being new, I'm happy to be off the pace, as it always takes me a good few weeks to learn a circuit. Realistic target for me is low 19s.

Go ahead post it, it was pretty funny  I forgot to save the replay, too busy apologizing lol. The two hits, two corners in a row, both giving me SR Down set me off. Tbf, the second hit was partly on you for mowing down all the distance markers for T1  I was trying not to get you mixed up in it, didn't quite work.

Next race there was still someone who didn't know where the pit entrance was and tried to drive full speed into the closed off one. 5 sec penalty

Back to clean race bonus racing. So hard at Spa. The tiniest tap from behind at the chicane, SR Down, gone. I'm looking more in the rear view mirror than at the road ahead. It's so backwards!

The 650S is fun to drive at Spa. It feels a lot faster than it really is. Holds up well in the B/S field. I'm going to try a no stop in this thirsty thing. Got tapped with my one stop strategy losing the crb. It was a fun close race, pretty clean despite some fights erupting around Brazilians.

But... :(

I expect to see a drifty vette to beat my time ;)

I wish I could say the same. Before this, the last time I raced at Spa was at Asseto Corsa (I think), so I had to do some trial and error and then try to get a good time for the videos. The struggle is real lol.

@Mc_Yavel started at the back too, and was faster than me. If you're reading this, Yavel, I felt bad for holding you up in that second race. I wanted to let you pass, but when I looked back, there was a group of cars with you and I didn't want to get freighttrained.
Started at 99 and finished at 99, both times. :)

No problem, I was still figuring out the track. After a couple of race from the back and seeing there is not much chaos at the front, I put a QT.
2.21.6 is only good for 12-15th on the grid. Not much of a difference since I'm the last before non-qualifier.:boggled:

Ran a bunch of laps for race A this morning.... talk about a boring combo. This is painfully boring tbh. Got a time of 41.1xx optimal of 40.6xx but i just couldn't do any more laps. Do not like RBR, and i might do laps around spa to learn it but i certainly wont be racing there this week. Maybe give some other games a little attention this week, i don't know.....

I put a couple of lap there and it's funny how it feels you can go flatout at most of the corners, but when I try, it does'nt work. I only go to 3rd gear in sector 3 at the exit of the tunnel until start/finish line. The race are fun but I have a crush on Spa!

Although I had this nice little move into the Bus Stop on lap 2!!

Went back to the 911 for my second race, annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd..........(I'll tell you soon!) :D

Nice dummy, perfectly executed! Dany Ric would be proud!

Forgot to ask earlier, anyone got experience with people going 2 wide through the eau rouge complex? Had it tried on me twice in my races last night, i backed out both times to stop it. Do people think this is really going to work well? Second guy that did it wasn't even even with me and already had a 0.5 from track limits earlier. I did beat them as they crashed and rage quit later but I think I only made 1 on track pass. Everything else is crashes or pitting. Race C definitely has some victims this week.

Love the random acts of idiocy.

Straight from the start, R8 runs wide and his TCS hampers his exit whilst on the kerb. I burn some fuel to get ahead, he drives me into the wall and gets a penalty. At this point a good result for me is all but lost. Not content with this, having got his penalty he waits for me at the top of the hill and sits on an apex or two, resulting in me tapping him as he's not accelerating in an acceleration zone. Then sideswipes me and finishes off with the full ram to the tyres. Perfect. I finished 10th with a CRB.

I await all the posts telling me that this is my fault.

Keep getting disconnected when the race is about to start. 4 times in a row now. Is something up or is it just me?
