Trust me, a few drivers yesterday, saw how I race(I'm getting more greetings of Nice to see you again) them and they were respectful and patient when I was struggling a bit. I gave room, didn't block and we still built a gap to cars behind.

Fully agree with this! Today I did about 5races C and in every there was clean players, which were also in next races and its nice and encouraging to see there is more of clean players.
I messed something with quoting:)

I wish I could get torace with the same crowd so often. In EMEA we are so many in Dr B that I rarely see the same people two races in a row.

Regards Race C, I think I'll do some runs from the back this week but amazed at how fast the WRX is around there, even I've stuck a solid lap in and I've never driven the car before! Has it had a big BoP boost? And is it any good in the race or does it chew its tyres?!

Hi! Race C is great I think. 86 is very good on tyres if someone ask me:) Just finished one where I was chasing spanish guy for 7 laps he was in Megane, when I passed him on main straight he did that:

Im curious of your opinions, I think it was dirty and on purpous...

I like to give the benefit of the doubt on something like that and think that being so close behind he may have just missed his braking point, but when you see his SR record...

I'm inclined to think it's something he's happy to do - he didn't say sorry did he?!

Bored at home with quarantine, so I decided to make @250Cal happy with some videos from the other night ;)

First one, had some fun battles and a sketchy moment when Stuntdriver had a moment in front of me. I tried to minimize the contact as I was already committed with few options. I eased onto the brake to avoid spinning myself and hoped he would run wide on his slip angle...... nope he parked it mid track lol. Could have been bad if I just powered through at full speed, but ended up being small and only cost me time. Had a mini moment right after when the other guy didn't realize I was on his inside for the final turn. He might have been using a view with no mirrors, or he intentionally tried to close the door, no worries it was minor.

Next race was a fun battle with the cheeky Brazilian. He knew how to keep his car wide to limit my options of attack. He gave me a few little bumps at the hairpin and other spots, but not outright shoving me off, so I consider it fair enough. Tough but fair. Ended up outsmarting him in T1 by keeping it tight to remove his momentum on exit.

You'll notice in both videos I am very conservative in T1. It's a high risk turn that can cost you a ton of time. I make guys think I'm going to challenge them on corner entry, then I back off letting them take on all of the risk. They either pull it off at speed and I lose a tenth at most, which is negated by the draft, or 1 of 2 things happen. They either go off from the pressure, or they over defend and sacrifice all of the exit speed, and I cruise past. Why would I risk T1 when the odds are in my favor to relax?

This car/track combo is fun but also tricky. It's a momentum car with very little throttle control needed, just point and shoot. Which means you are relying on momentum, which can make passing a bit hairy as you are trusting the guy in front of you not to lose it. But it's also a slow car, so even if they do mess up and you make light contact, it's not that bad. This car can do that unlike the F1/GR3/2 cars which the same contact can be far far worse.

No he didnt:) Im satisfied that I know Im faster than him:)

If people learn to overtake on the right places on Interlagos, since on GR4 is quite tricky to overtake due to the "slowness" of the cars, then Race C is quite fun :) . Had a really fun battle with one RCZ (I was trying Megane Trophy just to check how good it is with tires - and it is pretty good if you are willing to sacrifice the speed on the straight). The Peugeot really smoked me on the straight even though I was in its slipstream ...

Aight so, I took some gamble in Race C today twice. First race was ruined L1 T1 by a pinball crash. I started 10th, fell to 19th but finished 13th.

My DR points when from 21.8K to 21.3K. At this point I decided to go again...

20th win baby! No stop works. Team TPC Toyota. Of course I stopped after that and went up to 22.7K

Yeah, after a disaster in race A, I was down to A/B from my hard earned A/S. Decided to race C with no Q on my main account. Started working my way through the field, passed a guy in T4 that went wide, and he came back in the first hairpin and hit me full speed. Long story short, about half the field decided not to use brakes, and punted everyone they came up to. I admit I got pissed and went after the guy who punted me first. He was the worst. Even guys that moved over and gave him the inside got punted. I set fast lap catching him, but dropped to A/C. Told him I reported him...if that does anything. Qualified on pole and tried again, still in the 4C. Figured I could get through T1 and get a cushion. Nope, same guy ripped through the field in T1 from P9 or 10. I should have quit then, but I decided to try to actually race. Big mistake. Now I'm barely B/C. I'm back up to SR B after a real race (2 actually) lost almost 24k DR points. Gotta get my S back before I'll have any chance of getting my A back.
Penalty system aside...there needs to be something that can be done about people who go into races and purposely ram people over and over. The data is there, if someone is WOT going into a hairpin, they should be ghosted instantly. I actually saw it happen at the one good race I had at Interlagos today. I had P2 on the grid, and someone in a mustang tried go take out me and the leader going into T1, and went right through me. I heard a tap and felt half a bump, but didn't loose traction. IDK, Maybe it will be better later.

Jumped in on c no qual up against the fast crew.
In a purple 86...
What could go wrong? Lol fun event but for got into it last lap with a beemer who DESTROYED his tires from looking at replay...Fun but more intense than I was looking for.
@sturk0167 you should check that replay.
Little purple 86 vs big bad dirty beemer.
The 86 will lock its rears and get loose early you have to be a bit careful. Plus it’s power is abysmal, but if you’re dumb enough to try it lay back smooth and don’t attack until lap six or seven...It’s not the best in Brazil imo.

Yeah I raced a couple of Beemers and Lancers. Their tires were dead, especially one had his front right barely had some life.

If you guys want some good practice for L1 chaos. Grab Wreckfest and set to realistic with a 24 car field set on elimination

it’s complete chaos and forces you to work on spatial awareness to survive lap 1. Jumping into Race C after a session of that was a walk in the park

Done a couple of Race Cs from the back in the Toyota, plenty of light relief away from the FIAs on my main account! The racing was good, generally hard but fair and plenty of different cars made it more interesting.

First race, there were three of us who hadn't qualified and of course everyone thinks they're the fastest of the none qualifiers! Got a penalty for corner cutting at the first hairpin when I'd been squeezed off the track, then another second added for something I'm not sure of but in the end got a solid result in the top ten as four of us crossed the line less than half a second apart, and was just a couple of tenths behind Super GT on his F4H account who had become a cork in a bottle in a Mustang - can only think he'd killed his tyres.

Second race was a higher class field, plenty of A+ in there so starting 19th, with door #18 people seem to think I shouldn't be allowed to pass them and stay ahead! It took longer to start making up places. I got squeezed up the hill by two Meganes who both seemed to think it was me driving into them - I was just the meat in the sandwich getting bounced between the two! A McLaren had a ding dong with a couple of Meganes and then made two attempts to take me out as I picked up the pieces and went past. Gained on the group ahead and after being nudged out of T1 by a Brit in a Toyota (his move was a bit rude, there was no way he was making the corner without contact) and dropping a couple of places as a result I got back on their tails to watch absolute mayhem unfold on the last lap!

A bit of Renault pinball led to some retaliation, taking three cars out of my way and leaving the Brit ahead who had a 1s penalty, but he ran wide at the left hand hairpin, I didn't and got a lovely drive out past him, squeezing him onto the dirt a little but completely ahead (I remember that little nudge into T1, mate ;)). He then rage quit - three corners left! And I had an easy run to the line for 9th

I could clock up some wins here I think with my main account (the qualy time is decent enough to be near the front judging by the times in the races I did), but the race through the field is fun, and totally pressure free. Up to 39k with this one now, maybe try and get past 40k tomorrow

It’s real fun in the 86 IF you start no qual and be smoooooth and gentle until the second half of the race when people fight and waste their tires.
They are sitting ducks at the end because they have to slow down for corners so much.
I was the sixteen plate there, had fairly won eight until the bmw started in on me.

Ran another and entering next one.
Pace was poor Aston Martin holding us up.
Last lap the evo turns psychotic.
Punted me hard, but I had the last word.
The last half lap of this race I guess the thing some do is go wreckfest lol.
I play rally games gettin hit sideways don’t bother me none. And...
I hit back.
People need to learn that ramming everyone who tries to pass isn’t acceptable.
Edit last race was best lobby I’ve been in in a long time except for weirdness lap 8 up front.
Man, that was fun to be a part of starting last.
I got matched with some RACERS finally. Clean fast guys...That was cool. The 86 lost draft lap 1 lol I hung in there though. I’d rather get matched last all day in rooms like that over getting stuck with a bunch of idiots.
That was such a pleasure.
I felt like I was in Highlander...
Very cool :)
The good stuffs out there gotta stay 99 to find it tho I suppose...my apologies on the double post didn’t realize I posted last when that post went up. Sorry.

Jumped in for a quick round of Daily Race C. Did my qualifying time on the Lancer, and did the race in the 4C.

I almost bin it on the second lap. 2nd place passes me, but we ended up helping each other make a big gap between us and third place. Had a good battle with him, but ended up 0.08 seconds behind him when we crossed the finish line.

Uneventful for the most part, but it was nice to hang out with another 4C buddy.

Are replays not available for the leaderboard?

EDIT: Just ran race C. Used the Megane because I needed something agile to get through the field. Messed up T1 lap 2 and had to regain ground. Started 18th and caught 1st-3rd but 3rd tried to run me off the road lol so I gave him his own medicine, Jules him coming into T4 (right uphill) and ducked to his inside as he was trying to ram me off (I was on outside leading up) gave him a mini nudge and ran away from him. Sucks because I finished 1sec off the leader.

But 18th to 3rd while acclimating to the group sure. Lot of B/D/S so fairly clean room overall. Had a few guys try to shut the door on me but nothing crazy.

The Megane is a beast for coming from the back. It’s agility is invaluable here, plus great tire wear.

Sitting at 3 races 2x2nd 1x3rd. But each time pulling in 1st. Might try my main account, but looks like a dead night. Come on guys it’s Corona season, get online lol.

I will say, there are a lot of dirty C/S drivers. The kind who intentionally try to ram you off. Thankfully they aren’t very good at it, still sad to see idiots that petty and in the end they ruin their own race.

Thats why I titled it "dang".

I saw that RSR was a bit wobbly from the start. SO, once I got the penalty, I pulled the trigger to apply pressure. Got it to make a mistake and just when I slow, as I see it out the corner of the screen, too late. Watching the replay, its left rear tyre grabbed some grass and it lost control. The player apologized, but I saved the replay and bounced. Race A is next and last for the day(only the two for today). I'll just do the FIA races for the remainder of the week.

Oups 4 the first time dropped from sr S to B in 1 race on 1rst lap carnage in front of me everyone was ghosted comming back on track i totally rammed into one of them :/ .And after that totally miss my breaking point and i totally wrecked a car in senna S OMG! Im so sorry 4 this driver it was totally my fault but i didn't even know who it was everyone was off the track again lollll so i watched the replay it was R4M noodle . Im really SORRY totally my fault :banghead:

Race C is turning into a serious WW3 at the moment. Started 3 races, 1 on my USA acct, was clean and ok, with lots of people on mixed SR. Got to my main, got punted to a long slide lap 1 turn 4. Ended starting the race 8 sec behind everyone but managed to get back to my starting spot. Next race got punted wide turn 1 lap 2. Same result only 5 seconds behind. Still got 2 places up. SR almost recovered but man is it nasty.

Did 1 more race. Pretty clean but got logjammed behind a McLaren that just made it impossible to pass. Nothing dirty, but point on defense. Only times I got a run was on the last turn where my 4C got romped on the straight. Finally lined up a pass on lap 8:crazy:. The final 3 laps were my fastest 3 of the race. That is how bad I was getting slowed. But since it was totally clean it was frustrating but good racing. Especially since I did finally make the pass.
Now to only run my alt as I am just apparently not good enough for the half A lobbies I keep matching into. :boggled:

Half fancied my chances of doing a last to first on Race C if I got on quite early, lobbies are usually diverse and if you can get into the top ten within a couple of laps it becomes a possibility. So logged on, first race... all A rank! Which set the theme.

Had a lot of fun though, three races, three top tens, some dodgy driving going on, and something that rarely happens to me! In the final race I was up to 7th and looking like I'd have a lonely finish, then started gaining hand over fist on the Megane ahead, he was having a 'fight' with another Megane. The gap came down from 5s at the start of L10 to 0.8s approaching Yuncao on the final lap, the Frenchman makes a move... and... they both go off, I inherit 5th, and take it over the line, bloody beautiful! I thanked him after the race and he seemed quite pleased. He said the Spaniard he pushed off deserved it so I watched the replay, my god did he deserve it! I'd have launched him into the stand with the spectators! Absolute deliberate blocking, weaving, crashing, shocking behaviour.

If I see him on this account I may have to send him into a certain realm!

Ended up running 1 more race on Alt but finished 5th as the last race was A/B snd starting 18th. Very fun race that left me itching to switch to my Main.

Did 3 races on my main. And I did the usual ABS trick at the start to avoid the glitch......only I forgot to set it back to default. I had to run the first race with no ABS lol. Started 3rd and managed to hold onto 3rd despite dropping to 6th as I adjusted for the lack of ABS. It cost me a lot of time and a easy win.

Race 2 didn’t try to improve my quali, started 3rd but got hit and finished 2nd with a bogus 3sec penalty I got when 2nd (1-3 all within 1sec) spun coming out of T1 right in front of me. 1st messed up too which gave me the lead but the penalty negated that. Had a few bogus penalties but that was the worst.

3rd race I dropped my quali time to a low 1:38.4xx which bumped me to pole. Had a chase between 2nd and I for the first 4 laps with less than a second between us. Then I broke the draft and started stretching the lead lap by lap. Ran non stop mid 1:39’s and built the gap to 10sec by the end.

Fun race. Just annoyed with myself about the ABS. Kudos to those who race without ABS, you’re at such a disadvantage especially with tire wear.
