I’ve occasionally used video, but it can be time consuming to do highlight reals. It’s far quicker to just write down the highlights that stood out.

It’s also quicker for the audience to digest than to watch everyone’s 20Min race. Takes maybe 1min to read a post.

I still might post video of my battle with the Brazilian, but it was 4am and I was tired lol.

I’ll give this a try too. Time for a EU account too eh. What’s required? Just saying your in the EU at the start of new account?
Adress somewhere in the EU when you register.

I also made a new GTSport account after finally achieving ‘A’ grade after 2 years of trying.
I qualified on pole and completely fluffed it dropping back to nearly last, I think it was a ‘C’ grade race so managed to storm back through and win the race!

Here is a video of the race up to 2nd place and the early laps were quite busy including a penalty I picked up.

Off screen video, sorry but it’s actually not bad quality. All from my cockpit view. Enjoy.

I haven't been able to connect this afternoon...

It was connecting up to 30 mins ago but now seems to be offline so I presume they are working on Mr Server has problems...

Why have you posted a video and not a full written account?

;)

I think it has already been too long since you posted one.

You are too kind :O. I think it will be a while before I'm in a position to post again. It's been pandemonium here sorting out the house ready for disposal and preparing for eviction. Finaly able to race again...ish. Doing qualy laps has established I need to learn how to drive all over again . DR/C with DR/E skills... I'd be a danger to myself and others .

I’d did a little bit. Anyway I just noticed the description got abbreviated to something funny

those using alt accounts who say they want a challenge should get one on the EU servers. NA and Asia servers are somewhat easier especially on a night. if you really do want a challenge then EU is the place. i have an NA alt account and it's higher in DR than my main account. a qualifying time for me at a track on NA that gets me a top 3 grid start is a top 15 grid start on EU servers.

Do you accept the challenge??

I already have one. The EMEA DR B lobbies felt faster and more competitive than most DR A lobbies in the Americas region.

Is there a dummy guide to creating an alt account? I've damn tried everything I've read online but I can't seem to figure it out. Total PS4 noob here. I did create a 2nd PSN account but I must be mapping it incorrectly to my PlayStation Plus membership.

You just need a new email address, then create a new Sony/PS4 account with that address. Then you just login on your PS4 with that account info. :)

Jumped in a c race no qual for a cruise. Saw a friend, made the mistake last lap of passing someone who didn’t like it who dove in at the goofy hairpin and t boned me near apex.
I get a pen and red A lol. Correction I mean red S
I have to work on brake checking on inside every corner ever last lap just to keep from getting penalized...
It’s fun to just drive, got another FIA next up!
Gotta dr down main and get crb.

Likely story:irked: If that was just a cruise, how did you get past me?
So I've finished up the week of racing the 86. Like I usually do on my alt account, the last race I qualified, and raced. Found out some interesting things. So in the pre-race practice, I set a lap just after time expired, but the lap posted on my screen ( a 13.6 I think), so I figured a good grid spot. I was 20 of 20. It didn't count, I guess since time ran out before I went over the line. Finished 5th, up 15 spots. Did it again since I didn't get to race from the front. Qualified with a low to mid 13, 4th on the grid. Same 2 guys up front (mid 12's), and most of the rest of the grid that was in the previous race. Also finished 5th. I always figured that you end up about where you belong, no matter your grid.

Just in case you were wondering, I did race my main account a number of times this week. Ended on a high, with a win, and the CRB. Grided 4th in an A and A+ room, with pole almost a second faster than me. Took me till L3 to get into 3rd, who was slowing me down. Top 2 were 3+ seconds ahead, and I was nipping away at their lead, but I probably wasn't catching them. I think it was L5 when I saw a yellow, and a cloud of dust coming into T1. Had to hit the outside curbing, and take to the dirt a bit to avoid the car as it un-ghosted. That gave me second, and I was still in sight of first. He overcooked the uphill right (T-5?) And I went underneath while he went into the dirt. I took the win by over 5 seconds. All in all, a very fun week of racing, with most people being pretty clean. And I added another 4 or 5 wins, and a bunch of podiums to my tally.

@Rexracer702
I got that run outta turn 1 last lap and that blue car forced me onto the grass when I had way more speed. That got me goin a bit.
I knew I didn’t have to worry about you trying to kill me in the hairpin...I asked in chat if that was my bad cuz I didn’t figure on him t boning me. Hard to see it coming when someone does that.
I like the 86 it’s a great car the gr4 is fun to race too. I’ll be running main more with this ‘situation’ in real life. It’s fun to battle.
I should have just covered up inside and braked earlier but I didn’t wanna brake check a friend...
Good seein a friend in country!
Edit the longer I race the more I start to see things like Sven. There’s a point where caring about points makes no sense. If you start at the back it’s as much fun as anything.

Set a 2:39.249 in the Supra and a 2:39.252 in the Atenza. Atenza has that acceleration, but the Supra has the cornering. I don't think either will last tyre wise at both ends. Rear tyres on the Supra may start to slip and the fronts on the Atenza will definitely give up the ghost. I noticed andf thought about the Mustang before seeing the top 10 times. Going to be an interesting one. Starting with the Supra...

Edit: That 2nd place Mustang was falling down the order. I went to pass it at the final turn and it lost control. Fishtailed into my right side. It got a penalty, but screwed up my exit and the cars behind caught up. Right when we had a gap to the cars behind. Once that was eradicated, the freight train came thru.

Supra fronts wore quicker than I thought. Now, onto the Atenza.

Edit2: 5th to 10th because a TT kept holding up me and then the cars behind me.

Trying the Mustang, 86 and 4C. Players are giving no room and trying to fit 3 in a corner. Ridiculous. PLus, that WRX from my first race made it up to 2nd. Don't know how. Anyway, my fastest lap was my last lap was going to be my last lap, that's how much I was being held up. Got a .5 second penalty for what I don't know.

Edit3: The WRX is really good. It must be easy on the fronts, as it was pulling away towards the end of the race. I followed it for the whole race. It put on its hazards for me to pass, but I just wanted a good race. We build a big gap. So much so, the leaders in a 458 and Mustang, had pit and passed us. The cars behind, were no threat.

Man, interlagos is a bit rough. It is like friday night already out there. 2 and 3 wide, bump passes. Got pushed off 2 times first race, no penalty to anyone. 2nd race got bumped wide up the hill for a track limit penalty. Keep those helmets on tight this week. Between race B and C this week it is going to be take no prisoners it looks like.

Corvette has potential in race C but definitely need to damn the torpedoes and pit with it. I can't baby it enough to save that right front.

I Now remember why I struggle with Suzuka. It's covered in ice....
It's my first time with TCS off and inspite qualifying as p5 I spun off 3 Times on lap 1, one time on L2.
Finished p14...... All my own doing.

After that I went to Brasil, qualified as p14 in the Mclaren, finished p14 due to me getting track penalties 4 times....

Practice is needed... And perhaps I will go back to my Mustang too.

Edit: 3 races today, the last on Lago Maggiore, the first on Suzuka and the second on Interlagos. 3k Dr down. Hanging on to DR B by the fingernails...

PD back with giving us the same race and same setting as 5 months ago

Iv done a quick guide for people unaware of the strategy for this one and left a link in the video to full guide made 5 months ago.

Never mind on my idea of the pit stop. The tire wear definitely didnt slow me down by 10 seconds. Looks like I'm just going to have to get ruthless and git gud :scared:

Qualifying up the front is key. Even with these quicker than me players, it's best to try and do your best, to be able to run in clean air up the front.

Quicker players, at least, are consistent. No surprises in braking areas and will show commitment to making a proper overtake. Depends on which ones can be trusted for good race craft though. Break time and then the 86 at 8:30pm.

Edit: Whoops! I made the mistake of trying the WRX.

Smashed my qualy time in the Supra and Atenza. See how we go.
ETyL9SYU0AASHgm

Edit: If I can figure out how to conserve the fronts. Maybe with BB(which I haven't touched in ages), I can get more turn without relying on the front tyres. Good car.
Finished in 3rd behind the other WRX.

This seems to back up the results in the FIA races. The hot laps in the EMEA region are always several tenths faster than here in the North American region. Even the METAs were different last week in Saturday's Nations race, with EMEA using the Peugeot VGT, while North America had the fastest 5 or 6 times set with the Supra.

No I don't accept the challenge. It's hard enough being competitive against DR A drivers over here!
