Driving the Audi in Race B today but my brake points are all off. If I brake by the cones, it is way to late.
Anyone have shifted the Brake Balance or anything for this to drive they way it should ?

Haven't shifted brake balance at all but maybe I can help.
Turn 1, brake about 30metres before where the red kerbing starts.
Turn 4 (tight right turn after fast turn), I can brake at the cone.
Turn 5, brake way before the cone, try to get close to the inside kerb. Brake near when the barrier gets further away from the track.
Turn 8 (tight hairpin), brake a bit before where the red kerbing starts.
Final Turn, brake at about 160-180metres (so before the 150m board), depends on how much you trailbrake and how good your run out of the bus-stop chicane is.

I was struggling to with the Audi, took me a few laps to get used to the brakes. I have them 2 towards the rear, brake a few meters earlier than the cones and gradually brake later as you get used to the car and make sure your off the throttle a bit earlier to. I am only getting 2.00.079 but took me a few laps to get under 2min 3 sec.

Anyone got tips for the F1500T-A? I haven't tried it before and i have a feeling its going to be a handful. Don't wanna skip the FIA race but might have to, got a feeling i will struggle.

edit: Don't judge me but i turned on all assists and traction on 3.

A good opportunity to learn then :)

I really tried on Brands last night, but I just can't take that first long corner (Hawthorn) fast enough... I either carry too much speed and go wide, or not enough speed and lose time. The other one I struggle with is Surtees... again, I either go too wide or brake too early and lose momentum. So frustrating but I think I will just have to say it's not my track..

The one good thing to come of it though, is I learnt to drive the M4 with no assists which was pleasing as I couldn't do this a few weeks ago without spinning.
Two important things to keep in mind for Brands Hatch are rotation and patience. Surtees is a good example for patience. If you use the cone markers, use the entire width of the track at entrance, but angle the car just a bit in towards the left before you brake (the curb/painted run off on the right is deadly if you go too wide/long on braking), then brake hard at the cone and release brake smooth, but early. From here use very light throttle and steer towards apex. Don't use the inside curb. You know you hit it correct if you can keep light throttle and just barely make it over left to the apex with most of the turning complete. This is where you need to be patient, throttle too soon and you go wide or oversteer. Increase throttle around the white line going across the road.

Hawthorn, depends on the car, but you definitely want to brake well after the cone marker, approximately 40% of the way between the brake cone and turn in cone. Turn in a bit early before that next cone. I use a quick brake/downshift, then turn in and use 1/2 to 2/3 throttle to balance the car until it rotates enough. Balance is the key here, if you feel a bit slow, make sure the car is rotated and get on the throttle early. If you're going a bit fast, use patience and less throttle to let the car rotate. It's ok to use a little inside curb if you turn in a bit early. Once the car rotates, go full throttle, it's ok to use the exit curb as long as your steering is nearly straight.

Any tips for Megane Gr4 brake bias for Interlagos?

Usually my front tires are over too soon.

Try 2 to the rear and also if possible brake earlier (this isn't always possible if there is another car up your rear end.) and brake progressively and gently rather than slammin them on at the braking point.

Won my 10th race at the Nurb at the 134th attempt 8) was against a much faster fellow Brit but he cracked under pressure on the penultimate lap and I beat him by just two tenths due to the penalty I had.

In which race? :)

Daily B

You were there in loading screen and then disappeared.
Something happened I guess.
Too bad we didn't race together.

For me, racing day is over with second place in Manufacturers Series.
Good day, nice races, even pass number 100 - didn't count, achievement jumped so I looked :)

Here is my best R8 lap from Dragon Trail, begins from minute 21:

Interesting, I had to buy this R8 and then I got Gr.3 R8 LMS as daily workout, that I also didn't have...

Anybody else noticed that the R8 ghost drives around with the windscreen wipers up?
A few other cars do, too.

I wanted to do the F1 race today but then tried setting a lap in practice and was 13 seconds off P1 :boggled: The car handles like garbage since the most recent update

I did one daily B, dropped from 99 to 59 SR in one race. Matchmaking was putting D/S to A/S together again, destruction derby R8 race. That's it. I'm going full **** it mode. Reset my DR back to 7k for all I care. Enough of this DR.D ro DR.B gets to punt you and push you around and you get the hit for it. I reported half the room after that race. Sick of it. Brake checks, stupid moves, slow cars are just a curse in this game.

I run -3 (which I believe is stronger front brakes), and get better turn in. I'll try +2/3 and see what the difference is. Not really upto speed on best brake bias settings.

blargh shouldnt have run the audi on dragon.. down a rank on SR, and some ass put me in the wall at the top of the hill (can still do so with no penalty after all this time) so I ended up 10th.

I can't for the life of me get a clean race in SR B. Everytime I get up from SRC it's right back down next race. I don't know how to remedy this.:guilty: I refuse to piddle around in the back. At SR B the grids are just too weak and I dont want to lose my hard earned A rank, especially when I haven't gotten A yet lol Im sitting at 33k right now and just want to see the A... Just once

I have officially learned my lesson. No more tokyo lol. I wrote a check my ass couldn't cash:banghead:

As a side note: this Audi R8 is a lot of fun to drive once you get used to the SH tires. I've had some killer close races with guys up front despite all my complaining. Dragon trail is just a really good track for it i think

Edit: just got disconnected after finishing second while waiting for the results to be confirmed... lost 2000DR how does that make sense?

Daily Race A: 4C Launch Edition '14 at Alsace Village (3 Laps)

Daily Race B: Gr.3 at Big Willow (6 Laps)

Daily Race C: Gr.4 at Suzuka (8 Laps, 7x Fuel, 8x Tyres)
A and C for me :D
Time to test out how much I've improved over at Alsace :)

Nurb GP GR.1 was great, except the last race with 2 dirty drivers around me. Oh well, DR.B has a free pass to drive DR.A off the road and give you a penalty as well. He didn't profit from it in the end. Last one he dive knocked me off the road at the valvoline kurve yet apparently forgot that cars don't instantly vanish after you push them off and nicely stopped me from crossing over the ford kurve into the sand. Of course I got the penalty for that, as well as when he bashed me earlier on the straight to the last turn. That and I got punted in T1 coming out of the pits. The car coming out behind me neglected to brake, my car did the job for him. At least I didn't get a penalty for that one, just 2 lost positions and -7 SR overall.

However, I was wondering how this move works.

I'm flat out on the gas, same car, he's at the same speed as me, flashes his lights, then presses a turbo button? and overtakes.

After a ratings drop @ Brands Hatch it was time for the opposite @ Race A/Lago Maggiore.

Really loved the 4C after I got used to it.. My time was top 2.2% in the world but that was still like 3 seconds from the top time.. I have no idea how in the hell did I have 3 secs of air in my best lap..

Well, it was good enough. 8 races and 8 wins (5 poles). 7 of those races I drove alone several seconds ahead of second place. Pretty boring actually.. But I only did one little driving mistake in those races.

I tried the Audi too but didn't race..

Btw my Kudosprime stats are somehow corrupt.. It shows I have almost the maximum of DR points even though I'm just on the verge of A.
