Need a new account, but bear in mind it's a breach of PSN Ts&Cs to create an account for a country unless you're either a resident or citizen of that country. Many people ignore this without consequence.

I made a singapore account to get betas for free. when you still had to pre order to get a beta it was illegal in singapore and somewhere else to do that so you could download the beta on that account for free and then play it on your normal account lol.

@Invisigoth I see you sneaking closer to my qualifying times lately. Come and get it. If you've figured out Gardens you are doing better than me. I have tried ghosts, FR, FF and AWD cars and it is still a mystery to me. Braking points and turn ins on the middle sector are just a total puzzle. And in the races everyone seems to have a different line so I am just lost there. Having fun with some of the racing, but man am I getting some fast lobbies that just leave me barely keeping up. And I haven't made it past the final hairpin on lap 1 for any of my kart races. End up just catching and racing the other victims as the laps go on. I have managed a 9th that way.

David Perel has done a track guide here from when we had it previously

Finally got my wire to wire win and first trifecta! Ok, technically it wasn't a trifecta as the pole made it to the grid before he disconnected but he did disconnect before the race started and I started on the pole.

I don’t know if the karts are for me. I got a time of 56.5xx (which is nearly only one second before the lower top ten times) and in the two races I’ve entered, I started in 12th and 10th. In both, I got hit and couldn’t keep control, so I spun out and ended the races in last and in 11th, respectively.

Also, I think this race re-affirms my belief that Tsukuba is not a track for racing, and is only for time attack. It’s garbage for racing and just makes me angry with how tiny and narrow it is, and no places to pass other than the straight before the last corner. I’d say that for similar reasons, Nurburgring Nordschleife sucks, too, and it only works IRL because those drivers are professionals.

Are Kie's streams always like being at a Wrestlemania with your drunk uncle? Good lord I never knew it was a breeding ground for unintentional humor. Especially today when he got some idiot to penalize himself into a DR reset down to 7k/11.
I must of missed that. I seen where he got brake checked on Iracing. Somedays are just worse than others, on the track.
I’d like to see him lit and race.

Tonight I decided to go online for some racing fun with GTA Sport. On my alt account ofcourse. My last experience was not a very good one, so I took a week or two off. Somehow I like the gardens in GTA, so I went for it. I did some practicing this week and I thought a 1.38.3 is good enough for some fun. I can do a 1.37, but I have to have some room for mistakes. I did three of them tonight and it was really, really fun, I must say. First part of the heist there was this one guy who had to take down 3 cops and I was one of them. For the first cop he got $1.000 and I was his second target. He got nothing for shooting at me, but Rockstar was nice enough to give me $ 0.500 for trying to avoid him. His last victim made him very happy, he got $ 2.000 for it. Next part of the fun there were these three friends shooting at each other and therefor getting loads of $$$$'s. When I got my chance, I passed them one by one. That was not a smart move to do. Right in front of the next hairpin, one of the guys kissed my back and another one smashed his Kuruma right into my left ear. Thank God, I was wearing a helmet. The third part of the heist was the real thriller. Four bankrobbers in Duke O'Death's decided to split up. The first one shot at me while braking for the second corner. I started 5th and after the hit I was lucky enough to keep my car on the road. He got $ 1.000 for it. Just after the hairpin, I met the guy who started 2nd and he wasn't so happy to see me. He did a very bad job on the hairpin. At least, that's what I thought. But it was a strategy. When I was alongside him, he smashed me right before the next corner. I could keep the car on the road, but the first guy however, smashed me again from the back and there I was.... hanging in the crash barrier. I was rewarded with $ 5.000
I came back on the road at 12th and number 13 took his chance with his Duke O'Death right at the beginning of the hairpin before start / finish. It was flawless!!! But oddly enough he got no $$$$'s for it. So, that was only the first lap. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish the race. In the second lap I had to drive slow for 5 seconds ofcourse and in the third lap I fought my way back to 11th, but after the first hairpin the fourth bankrobber shot me in the ass right before the next corner. It was a direct hit and I was out. He got $ 1.000 for it and I tried to hit the option button, but that's not so easy on a G29 when your wheel is going everywhere after hitting a wall. So after a few share screens and main screens I was disqualified.
End of the fun. Very, very and I mean VERY quietly, I walked to the PS4 and ripped the power cable out of it. No more fun for me tonight.
I don't know if the heist was a succes for these guys, but I wish to never see them again.
What a night...:banghead::ouch::banghead::mad::banghead::ouch:

This week I did some races at fuji from the back and it seemed kind of enjoyable. Today I finally put down my quali lap (1.31.4) and I found out that starting in the top 5 at fuji is carnage, no way to escape divebombers on first corner, 2 races out of 3 completely ruined right away, the third one I luckily dodged a couple of bullets and finished fourth after running third until last lap. And a lot of penalties before-the-update style that drop me to Sr a

There are plenty of places to pass on Tsukuba, as on Nordschleife.
Turn 1, turn 3, between T5 and 5, t5, the back straight, last turn, the front straight.
Either on the inside or slingshot undercut.

14 days and 2 hours driving time in the game. Who knows how much more waiting, doing other in game stuff and whatever else. Undefined period of time moaning about it.

All that time for something you don't like and can't find a positive in. I'm not aware of any nation on the planet where playing Gran Turismo is a legal requirement. You have a choice in this.

I know people working front line medical jobs in intensive care. Some of the **** they're dealing with is unreal, including a very real risk to their own health (up to and including death). And do you know what, they're not moaning about it.

Do. Something. Else.

Decided to use the "real GT4"-based FR cars. Well, close to their real versions.
ALL of them did well. The Mustang allowed me to drop my qualy time to 1:38.018, quickest of them all.

Once I did that, it gave me starting positions over three, kind of, trouble makers(two in Evos and one in a TT). They kept fighting each other, which was slowing us down.

The SLS was weird. Struggled a little more than the others. Thought it would handle a bit tighter than it felt. Vantage was super solid versus the lead Evo. Just stayed in the racing line and finished within .3 seconds.

BMW is nice. Just got caught up with the slowwannafighteveryone Evo crew.

Supra finished on raw pace. Those Huracans were struggling with some MR sliiiiide. Done for the week.

Raced them in alphabetical order:

I’ve had an astounding run of misfortune at the Gardens over the last few days. In spite of this, I am tempted to stream one race in each Gr.4 I own on Twitch before the event is gone.

Masochistic tendencies are a hoot!

On another note, I am a fool for only just realising you should be in fourth at turn one in the karts? I immediately shaved a bunch of excess time from my practice lap and felt very silly indeed!

EOL with N200, lol. That's going to be so slow along the straight, it's usually Gr.4 and above. It could be and I wouldn't mind the 180SX again which was last used at Tokyo.

It's the same fuel/tyre multipliers at Le Mans so expect TS050s everywhere. I'd like to have seen the chicaneless layout come back where Gr.C were competitive, that would had been more interesting.

That's alright. I'll be the pest in the 787B.

Next week's races are up

Race A
Tokyo Express Way Easter outer loop - N200 - 3 laps - Sports Hards - Grid Start

Race B
Dragon Trail Seaside - Gr.3 - 5 laps - Racing Hards

Race C
Circuit de la Sarthe - Gr.1 - 5 laps - Racing Hards on x11 - fuel on x5

I've always avoided Gr.1 races as they've almost exclusively been Toyota TS050 one makes, but I'll give it a shot this time..
But I think most people on this sub will prefer to face the chicane of death all day long for the entirety of the next week :gtpflag:...
