Just been rammed into from half a second back into the chicane and just driven of the road in the same race and obviously the other drivers claim it's my fault??? Some people really can't race to save there lives.
If I have anyone within 1s of me approaching that chicane (mainly in lower lobbies, I trust the higher rated guys more) I take a slightly defensive line - don't want them getting any ideas! Even then I still get the odd punt. But you don't really lose time going slightly defensive through the first part as long as you slow it down and keep it tight ready to drive through the left hander

It feels like these people have all suffered major head injuries just before racing, that's the only explanation I can come up with. Still starting from last with no qualifying time is fun to but gas its drawbacks, thankfully only on second account with these idiots, largely anyway.

For me it's the chicane that causes issues, it's a TERRIBLE place to pass, just terrible. Ends in contact so often because you need to be legit alongside to make a pass, not behind, but alongside.

The only way to take the corner is to approach from the left for the right hander or you are eaten alive on the straight, as soon as i do that i get bombed on the inside by folks BEHIND me, not along side me. If they would just follow me through there, we would both avoid being gobbled up by the crowd behind and you'll likely get me in the tow anyways. No forethought, so many Neanderthals.

C race is a tough one, I did one from the back at s. (Shocking how much better the new Nissan is over the Lexus, it’s in another league)
But I decided to race not cruise. Starting second to last the moron behind me the ONE car behind makes like he’s going inside turn one so I SMOOTHLY cover it off at the 200 marker.
He won’t accept the whole field is RIGHT in front of us and shoved me...
Luckily I predicted it and didn’t hit anyone...HARD haha.
In the next half lap I gained 10-11 spots through the utter chaos but was soundly punted in the ridiculous chicane to last...I proceeded to seek revenge and ended up looking the fool.
On the flip side b race is super fun at B S from the back...In the last several races S Americans have switched cars to power cars, think I started a trend...It’s a great race, but imo unless you are very very very good, take maybe a wrx or Mustang or something stable with power and use tcs...I’ve gotten some great replays...
With the momentum cars there man it’s tough I’d say...

Is there anything I should know about the brake balance or TCS for Race A? Or is it all just a matter of one's driving line? I was thinking TCS would be best at 0 since it's not too much power. I don't know if fiddling with the BB would do much, either.

One brave dude if you can run TC0. In the race there is a lot of contact so I would run 1-2. BB is probably personal based on how you drive/line. Good luck!

Went back and checked some video of my last 2 races last night. Had 1 cowboy in both of them who has been a disaster in the past. First race he serves a penalty then as I am inside he simply turns in on me, and snaps. Hits me a couple of times so I return favor. Then when he goes off the kill I simply brake early and watch him fly by. Accidentally took out another caf with that maneuver but once we cleared away they went in front for the finish. Next race the villain had the lap of rage. Went from B/S both first races to B/C after the second.

Posted video, but didn't think to have a replay of the first one. Just realized I kept it out of order, curb hop, then bash lap, then the actual first run in. That last part will involve checking radar. Kept it on the whole lap for when my boy just snapped. Checked his profile and this is as normal as I remember.
Plus a bonus curb hop from hell at the start when I hit it straight on. Let me know if I screwed up other than being stupid enough to be 3 wide at the hairpin which I admit wasn't super smart.

Wow Maegashira San obviously had raw meat for breakfast! Even if it is fun to watch people flip out like that this is the main reason I hardly do online racing. If there would be a high chance to meet people who appreciate clean and honest racing I would be glad to join but with fellows like that all over the place it is not racing any more.

I ran a couple of Cs on the Alt this afternoon. I ran mediums on the first stint in the first one just to clear traffic, and ended up taking P2. I started on the pole and got punted by P2 on the third or 4th lap. He pitted and I ran a few laps, and he punted me again after my pitstop. Then he hit the pits again and I ended up beating him by 20 seconds.

Why punt if you know you're going to pit after anyways? Meh. 3 star race at the end of it, and my alt is back to SR S. I'll try to be better about keeping it there now.

Eh, I have seen him before in his brief stops at SR S so was sort of prepared for something. The worst was I had clean races with some of the people in that pack of carnage, but a couple mean bumps and B/S lobby turned to death race back there. That was where I was stuck my first couple of races. Definitely need your 360 vision in that mess.

Having some fun in the Karts like I did last bit it would be nice if PD were a little more adventurous with the track selection rather than spamming Tsuksuba (they love it) Maybe even Suzuka short haven't had that for a little while. I think Tokyo would be fun in the Kart or Goodwood... Catalunya. I don't know why PD persist in using the same tracks, it really kills the game for me and I don't see it as creative and forward thinking at all.

Gr4 at Dragon Trail is a bore fest. Maybe try it reverse next time PD there's a hint. I did a few races there, no doubt it will end up a Meganne One Make.

Gr2 at Fuji, that's a combination that's been used at least 3 times smh. Maybe try Gr2 at Brands Hatch, or Nurburgring GP. Or even on the Nordschloeffe.... at night but ffs try something new PD omg.

I know for a fact if it was me selecting weekly races people would really enjoy them and they would be different and intestering.

They should use open wheel more, rally more or rally or road track. Instead of Spamming the GT86 try another Toyota. They're used the FF Gr4 cars before as well maybe a Gr3 or 4 one make. Or a gr.x one make.

The fact they don't even utilise their own content properly frustrates me, it's like they do theirselves a disservice.

If next weeks races are repeats I'm coming right back here to says what's going on and telling PD on Instagram. Even with the shortfall of DLC lately I'm not bored of the game, for me they just need to be more creative and adventurous selecting weekly race combos

Over and out

does anyone else find dr B oddly toxic rn. im moving up ranks and have had a pretty good experience in E and C but the players always seem to ram me

Yeaaaaa...SR C is a scary place to be. Everyone is liable to hit you there no matter the race. It'll get better if you continue racing clean.

Went in my alt account. All B/S room. Started 2nd in the Supra at DTG. Alfa was on pole. I finished .3 behind with two FL on the last two laps. Oh, and there were a variety of cars used.

The A/S rooms, players get too aggressive. Just leave room. Be patient. Use the brakes. Jeez.

I gotta say, although stuck at home, I had the most fun I’ve had in a long time by ranking BS on NA server.
B race is fun you can use different cars, good racing for the most part.
A S here is kind of a pain tbh. Waaay too serious, I enjoy B more.
High A I can handle a couple but it’s almost too intense for me overall.
Like knowing one slight mistake or failure to cover an opening BOOM lost a spot...
I have one acct for when I want to get in the arena, but for everyday it’s just a bit much for me personally.

Edit I also saw a lot of cars spin. No tcs. People get excited trying to get that exit and punch it too soon. It’s very very tough not to in the heat of battle. Plus it can save you on those big curbs also...

They use brakes...... the brakes are called Spacedustdaddy ;).
Great. Just what I need.

"having trouble braking in Sport Mode? Just use SpacedustDaddy. The latest in online braking technology!
Say what? Think you'll miss an apex? With your new stick like glue to his rear bumper, you'll never miss an apex again!
Type in: I C U SpacedustDaddy and he'll take care of all your braking needs."

Perfect! Next race if I can start near you I can use that to get some extra stopping power for that first hairpin! 👍

Of course that means I need to speed up my qualifying time.:guilty:

Damn. My new wheel (T300 RS) & a stand cost less than that. :boggled:
Speaking of the T300RS, I'm very much considering going that route or the T150. From your own experience, how do the pros and cons weigh in on the 300?

Mine has been pretty good. When I first started using it, the force feedback was so strong, it was tough to get used to. But, I turned the FFB down to 1 & it's been much better. Also, turning FFB down will help keep the internal fan from going into high speed mode so much. But in races, it is much more precise than the DS4 controller.

I had one fun kart race tonight all B S players. Funny thing was they drove better than the A plus and such I raced the other day.
A guy actually lifted a touch to avoid punting me in the draft going into the final turn, no divebomb sand punts, people picking a line and holding it.
They were racing, with respect unlike the nonsense I saw from the a/a plus. That was draft leader punt leader get in pack fight like hyenas over road kill.
Same racepace. Proper racing at b. Arcade egotists at A.
