A little something serious I do have to say, as I saw this in post-race chat, and it angered the 🤬 out of me.

For the love that is all holy, DO NOT tell someone to kill themselves. I was doing my Daily Race C testing, when someone told another person that after the race ended. I know that wasn't aimed at me, but that is an insanely cruel thing to say, and hits too close to home. What if that person was questioning on doing it, and being told that was their breaking point? It can carry a huge weight on that person, which can lead to someone actually doing an attempt to end their own life.
Yeah, that is definitely a ban quality move. Total BS.
I have had rage inducing races, called people punt monkeys or told them I hopefully they were always raced like they did me. Even told 1 person I hope their ps4 crapped out after 3 straight races of bad behavior, but the other is massively over the line. Hell, I felt bad about the ps4 meltdown comment later but that wasn't half as bad.
Hope that person gets banned.

I have mainly calmed down on that stuff now as well. But minor insults can still come out at times.

If the solution has to be 'create a second PSN account' then there is clearly something that should be improved for the next title.

Also I really only play GT Sport for FIA championship races which are (usually) much higher quality and more interesting than Daily Races.

I'm not so sure banning second accounts is the greatest solution. To add to what others have mentioned previously I'll add that I have an American account since I used to live there as well as my Irish account which is my main for GT and FIA racing. I like to have my American account to not only race new people and styles in my general skill level but I tend to be MUCH more passive on that account as well. Where on my main account I admit I can get a bit aggressive at times in the heat of competitiveness.

Essentially there are times I want to sit back drive around a track, enjoy myself and drive as clean as possible, other times I want to compete and see what I can do.

Did two daily races B today and got ramed in both of them. I started as second place and finish 9 two times...
I was about to go C rating but it seems I will go back to E :(
And the players who kick me out of track didn't even got penalty...

Just won a race haha.
Started first and noone ramed me :D

Haha good!

I took a really steep dive in SR a few months ago.

Bad race followed by constant rams, getting worse as my SR dropped each round lol. Very lucky my DR didn’t go down to C, or if it did it wasn’t there long.

very hard focused fight to get it back up with the lobbies get more n more less experienced...

but helped me focus more on avoiding the ruckus! Especially identifying cars around me to watch out for/keep track of their behaviors.

BUT! Lead to a lot more top 3 starting positions, so it kinda balances itself out.

Just be really careful (as always) in first few turns when leading the pack, that’s where you’ll run into the bulk of your problems! Watch your butt!

goodluck getting back where you were at friend

I am unable to join daily race. When I click on the green "Enter Race" button it takes me to "PS Plus" subscription page. I will appreciate any help. Thanks.
I have this problem too. Any way past this would be helped

So I guess no ones conserving anything in race C. Atleast not in BS rating. Got knocked out for trying to coast, and that wasn't even close to conserving enough with the toyota. Raised fuel map to 4, still not enough.

Got placed in a room I probably wasn’t qualified for, yet didn’t embarrass myself much.

Another day, another set of punts. Ran 3 races. First one, started 3rd, got rammed in the door by second place, fell to last, finished 10th/11th (don't remember). Second, started 9th & was able to work my way to the lead & finished 3rd after a BS penalty.

Third race, started second with somebody who has an internet connection worse than when I try to join DRWF races. I had to try to keep up with a ping-pong ball. But, I did. He spun on lap 4 & I held the lead to the finish. And of course, he called me "very dirty". Not according to the game.

Some tough races in the gardens tonight! First one had qualified 7th in the BMW, which really liked this track. Had a nice dance for what ended up 5th nearing the end, but he had the moves on me, so I settled for sixth. If you on here Viper driver, that was some fun!

Second race, lead/won from the pole, had a bad final corner but made it out okay. The driver in the Porsche, unbenownst to me, was really hounding me from behind, but I was so focused on the track I hardly knew he was about to t-bone me!

Just had 2 race C with @05XR8 and what a total cluster:censored:. At least 1 lap if not 2 of total ping pong at the start of both. Did manage to improve my position in both races despite getting punted to the back 2 or 3 both races. Good grief the people that don't know how to brake. Had one guy bomb me and put me in the wall 3 straight times, crashing himself each time. Oh well. Still had a great race in both races with someone so all good I guess.

Might have to look at the minis for something calm.

Back in B/S bs rooms(might be here for a while), The "GT-R" LMP is garbahgggg. Next, used the R92CP. That thing was a beast. I knew it wouldn't have the acceleration like the C9, but it's pretty good as the fuel drops. I kept TS050s in my sight and was pulling away from a 919 behind. Tyres wore prematurely as I got shoved one time and another, I went off at T1 on my own. I was setting my fastest laps toward the end of the race. 1:29s after I pitted end of lap 9. Might try the 962 at 21:00.

PD do love to make tracks that show off their collision physics and penalty system.

Yay starting to see many more A - DRs in my lobbies after a long time without lol.

very excited definitely a different dynamic! definitely a little out of my league in some lobbies, so try to be the best sport I can!

Think I’m alittle over confident in others, because I keep getting pushed off the track on final laps 8(.

little salty but I’m sure I could’ve done more to avoid it every time! And more learning opportunities, just don’t want it to be the reason I fall back in DR!

Watching the braking points that most are using I'm realizing the disadvantage the controller is. The degrees of braking input is very limited compared to someone using a pedal. What percentage of people are using steering wheel vs controller?

T300 GT here, but I think the vast majority of players are using a pad. :)

I'm surprised to see how fast so many DS4 users (EDIT: THAT I MEET IN DAILY RACES) are... I was sure that it was a disadvantage in prior games but it seems to be fully on par in this one. I know guys that are lightning quick on the controllers.

I use a G29 (EDIT: WHEN DRIVING IN DAILY RACES :D... keeping the post on-topic!), which is fine from a bang-for-the-buck factor-- it's fine quality and after you get over the notchy on-center thing, and the notchy feel of the gear drive, serves the purpose well. but I do think I've tapped out what I'm able to do with it, with the available feedback and braking feel.

The T300 is cool in that you can swap different wheels... did you upgrade yours? They make some really cool ones.

I was pretty surprised by the comparisons Super GT did.

Yeah, this is the video I watched (after already committing to my wheel...) and it was really interesting. I haven't tried to play with the DS4 since, but I should give it a try to see how close I can get to my current best times. Maybe I'd even be faster on some tracks?!

Mine is just a stock T300GT, so it came with the T3PA pedals but my rim is stock still, I did get the shifter though. You can be plenty fast on a G29’s though too, I know @Mistah_MCA uses a G29(or he did for a long time if he doesn’t now) and @Tidgney also used one for a while as well. So it’s definitely possible to be fast with one. :)
