New banners across the screen for the race? Cool.

I like the improved presentation. There's a part of me that wants a smoother transition from warm-ups to race starts, though. I like how it puts you in auto drive after the warm-up period ends. For a second, I thought it was going to transition to the rolling start and that the race would begin from there, which would've been cool. I can see why others wouldn't want that, though.

They are on Jason Guernsey 's stats pages https://www.jasonguernsey.net/gts/ but I think they only keep your records once you have registered
Thanks @Arcflyer for replying @Alpha Cipher

It is a practice for me to check on Jason’s site before I set Q time every day. To break my previous PB is a challenging one even 0.01s is rewarding. :gtpflag:

Jason’s stat also gives you the overall ranking on each tracks which presents in number and %. I like it.:D

Below is my today record.:yuck: Though not close to the top end yet. Down from 9% to 1.5%. I am happy.

Nice, are those numbers worldwide, or region-based?

Also, would be nice for this to collab with the guy who made the GT SPORT app!

Penalty alghoritm still sucks! I think people are starting to exploit these kind of situations because it happenes very often to me. I was totally clean here, the guy next to me just rammed into me and I received 4 seconds penalty, he received 1 second.

At the end of the race my SR was red, although this was the only contact I made. His SR was blue.

If there is anyone in touch with PD please send this video to them. This was a ridiculous penalty. Totally unfair.

No, pretty fair to me, that you received a penalty in this case, plenty room closer to the kerbs or a split second liftoff and was avoided.

He blew off the corner and could have just normally go beside me. Kerbs are very dangerous in this game I avoid them all the time. It was absolutely unnatural to let him go, I'd have to slow down like crazy. He had plenty of space.

Funny how sure you were about the other drivers mistake while a lot of people also blame you. And you should. Your case is the best example of a simple “race incident” that could be avoided by both of you. Instead of a race penalty a drop of SR would be way more logical than a time penalty since after the hit no body got off track or spun.

But you have no reason to go for that gap since you can never be sure that he is seeing you on his radar. So you could slow the gas or step on the brake. Pass by chosing the best possible moments and not every possible gap. Although I agree that his slip turns your brain sensor on for passing. But you should also be able to turn that off.

Holy crap, though. The redline *ping* inside the RX-7 '90 is really annoying in cockpit cam. I think it's actually worse than the RX-7 '02. Is it really that bad in real life or is it exaggerated?
I just love that !

Managed to take half a second of my best time for race B - currently on 2.26.241 yet it still says my optimal is under 2.25.8 ??

Just had my last race against you I think?, green viper? Was behind in the atenza, great race!

Had some good races on race B this afternoon raised my DR from 38k to 45k so pretty productive, don’t get chance to race all afternoon very often so was good. Ended with a 1.26.5 quail but didn’t do many quali laps during the day think I had a bit more speed but not much

Hmmm no update atm on another test season for manufacturers and nations cup. They're normally posted on a Friday going through the news feed for the previous. Could possibly be that this is the last test season until it finally begins, maybe even as early as this Sunday.

Apologies if I'm not meant to post this here or if someone has mentioned this already, tell me if so.

Seeing the best Red Bull Junior laps today just makes me so frustrated. It is frustrating that the track limits are like so on Maggiore....not blaming the players though, blaming the game for even allowing it.

Raced the Alfa 4C on Race B (Yamagiwa+Miyabi) last night; it really is much more competitive now. Such a fun car to drive.

They normally do it friday afternoon in the uk. Might not be another. Correct me if im wrong.

Started using the SLS GR4 - it is a really nice and forgiving car - I play without any assists except for ABS and I find it harder to spin due to oversteer compared to other cars, but I think it is a bit slower, has any of you used it - what are your impressions? I'm thinking it is slower because I did 5 races at race B today (Kyoto + Yamagiwa) and didn't manage to pass a single opponent even though I pushed as hard as I can (DR ~39K - mid A / SR S) - the only time I managed to pass was if someone did a mistake ....

The important fact is that you hadn't enough overlap and the rules are pretty clear in this case - he doesn't need to leave space, you do.

Don’t think it’s the car it’s the fact that GR4 is very competitive. The cars are so stable you get very little mistakes from things like bad corner exits etc. Very close racing for sure but with the penalty system and the fact DRA and S is very fast very few opportunities for overtakes unless your out of position.

What quali time did you manage with the sls?

Didn't have much time for qualifying - I'm at 2.27.200, if I have more time I'm pretty sure I can go around 2.26.800 which is far from top 10 but still a good time at least for my current skill :)

Stable car that I'm more comfortable pushing that others, especially with the throttle. It is hard to pass in Gr.4 regardless but does feel like the SLS lacks straight line speed compared to everyone else. Not sure how true this is but I also get the impression the tires don't fall off as much on the SLS.

Exactly the same for me!

If that's true, I haven't witness one single "clean" person. When I overblow a corner like that, I never get back into the apex because someone is already there and I'm not that kind of person who does something because of some rule.

Again, you are saying I was literally supposed to brake much more than I needed to and waited for him to finally get back to the apex? You can't be serious. He hit me after the apex anyway, while I was still on the very inside of the corner exit. He wouldn't be any slower if he just went beside me.
