I never get back into the apex because someone is already there and I'm not that kind of person who does something because of some rule.
It's not about whether someone is there or not, it is about how much overlap the guy who is there has. That is why I said I have difficulties to judge where your front tires are as the bumper cam seems to sit somewhere inside an invisible car... If your front tires are the same "height" as his, he needs to give way. If you are behind and to me it looks like your front tires are where is rear tires are, you need to give way.

In any case, no one should have gotten a penalty as quite simply, nothing happened. :)

If that's true, I haven't witness one single "clean" person.

Most people aren't. In the real world drivers actually have some concern for each other's safety so a lead driver being out of sorts is usually a good enough reason to at least lift off as you gain on them.

When I overblow a corner like that, I never get back into the apex because someone is already there...

Me neither but I expect everyone else to re-attack that apex at the weirdest angle even if they went into the wall. Online drivers are crazy.

Again, you are saying I was literally supposed to brake much more than I needed to and waited for him to finally get back to the apex? You can't be serious. He hit me after the apex anyway, while I was still on the very inside of the corner exit. He wouldn't be any slower if he just went beside me.

Not brake, but lifting off and assessing where he was going would have avoided the collision. He did hit you but you were already initiating your exit line, which I think is why the system detected you as hitting him.

In regards to driving etiquette, I think you should have lifted off leading into the apex and expect to line up behind him as he re-attacked the late apex. Cars don't just disappear because they made a mistake, and accounting for where he was going to be is an important detail to take into account when going for that pass.

In regards to how the penalty system seems to work, if you would have held a tight radius on the kerb and not initiate your exit line until it was clear, I personally think you would have avoided the penalty (I get hit on the inside all of the time without taking penalties but I don't know if the game is assessing overlap before entering the turn).

Just had my last race against you I think?, green viper? Was behind in the atenza, great race!

Had some good races on race B this afternoon raised my DR from 38k to 45k so pretty productive, don’t get chance to race all afternoon very often so was good. Ended with a 1.26.5 quail but didn’t do many quali laps during the day think I had a bit more speed but not much
Some good racing there, even though pb times are similar the difference between car speeds and acceleration makes it really interesting,

Race B is just a mess today! Also does anyone know why my number does not show on the hood of the atenza but it does on other cars?

Yes definitely, atenza struggled with understeer but great out of the slow corners. Viper looked pretty decent, although the Lexus RCF seems to be the new M4, and still plenty of TTs about

Hmmm no update atm on another test season for manufacturers and nations cup. They're normally posted on a Friday going through the news feed for the previous. Could possibly be that this is the last test season until it finally begins, maybe even as early as this Sunday.

Apologies if I'm not meant to post this here or if someone has mentioned this already, tell me if so.
Turns out there will be a test season 21, you can find it in championship calendar once you enter sport mode

Give up tonight, some good races during the afternoon with the Red bull junior, but tonight, loss of external sound and disconnecting from server four times, which means you have to wait another 30 minutes until the next race, just takes the piss. Sort it out poly, every time a new update new problems !

3 (2 on GR.4 and 1 on Red Bull Junior) wins today on Daily Race, which coulded be 4 wins, if it wasn't a Spanish idiot to ram me on Gr.4.

Edit: Well.. they really removed the "balls" of M4 after this update. xD

Last night race, getting data loss on GR.3 Nation cup while M6 now hard to turn and need too much deep throttle while M4 was more worse trully thristy and need too much deep throttle for gain power glady M4 still have same feel handling

Time move to Lexus or AMG I guess.

X1 Junior I dunno too much door to door duel that's fun but I feel underpowered on race.

I've been holding this back for a while now, partly because it's disrespectful and partly because I'm trying to give it time to make generalizations, but the US region is the dirtiest of the three, isn't it? If it weren't because it's so easy to outpace them compared to the other regions, I would've never left SR B at all. Daily races in the US is unbearable if I don't get pole and run away in the first corner. People washing wide, swerving- you name it, they do it. Get unlucky enough to get smashed into oblivion into T1,the midfield is hell. If you think the front field is dirty enough, heh you're in for a treat at the midfield. People doing everything they can to defend their position. Look, I have no qualms about you defending your position, because I'll pass you anyway given our difference in raw pace, but defend cleanly 🤬

I'm taking a break for today

So you're saying there is hope when I get around to creating a new account? Oh thank goodness. Did you see my post thread about Lagos? That was all Dr S and A! It's pathetic...

Honestly from my experience, yeah you do. I find EU and Asia to be equally clean, but if I have to choose a cleaner region the EU is one bit cleaner. But both regions are way cleaner than the US

Don't worry. I think your completely correct lol.

On another note : I just had the weirdest experience. Joined the Race C today for my first race. Had no sounds except the engine all race.
Grid start was chaos and I had 16.5 sec of penalty time from accelerating in a straight line before T1. Really... I don't even think I made any contact but hard to tell considering no audio cues( visually nothing happened) so I pulled over to run it out and ran the rest of the race in last place with noone near me.

Halfway through the race I get bumped... By no one... But it gave me a 5sec penalty and a 1 sec penalty to someone who was halfway round the track from me. No lag at all so....wtf?... Then I finish the race down to SR B when I started the race at SR S (99).... WTH even happened?

So that was fun. I spent all week making up for a disasterous run on Tokyo last week just to have a glitchy single race and now I'm back to square 1... Fun fun fun. May take a few days off sport mode til this gets fixed.

I don't even know what to think. I settled in for a good long night of racing and now I'm sitting here after one race considering quitting the game for a while. I worked hard to get my rating back to normal and now its all for nothing:irked: waste of firggin time

Edit: kudos says I lost 45 SR points in one race. In ONE race... where I ran by myself the entire race..... Why even try....

I'm really bummed. I love this game and I feel really let down tonight. Looks like I'll have a productive weekend without any gaming:guilty:

My hunch is that there's disappearing cars like the ones in lobbies. Sometimes it shows the person left but actually didn't, or worse, just straight up disappear from the lineup. Maybe you're hitting thise invisible cars?

I'm gonna have to give it a try tomorrow! I'm working on an account for there now! :D

Are these disapperaimg cars typically 30+ sec ahead of you on the leaderboards?

So what's the deal with Race C today? Been working most of the day and only got to run a few qual laps. Do you need to pit for fuel or tires or can you go the whole race?

Whole race. No fuel saving either; it's basically a very long Race B :D
Oh
It also has standing starts!

I find that EU region is clean. I climbed up to SR S within 4 days. Only a few contacts over 10 races. I am yet to concluded if Asia or EU is cleaner.
