Any more than 8 penalty points in one race is a 24 hr ban, any more than 18 in a day is a weeks ban lol.

I'm for a cooldown consequence rather than solely SR since it's not difficult farming back. Although PD don't want to risk banning dirty drivers if it could lead to a loss in player numbers.

Other games have cooldown periods for bad behavior, griefing etc. iRacing ban players who intentionally drive dirty, it's not out the ordinary.

I had some very good races at Nurburgring GP today. Overwhelmingly clean and fair. It was great. Then, I had a race with two or three inconsequential taps and... SR down to A. Then I started on pole with all SR A/B drivers and well, I dropped to C.

Then I gave up on Daily Race B and went into A full SR salvage mode at Fuji. It was really jarring watching most of the field struggle to control the Gr.2 cars and still fight each other so aggressively, while I was just taking a leisurely cruise behind them, trying to avoid any contact whenever they smashed into each other... and yet I still managed to gain 9-10 places from the back in each race when I wasn't even trying to actually race.

It took three races but I'm back to SR-S. My DR hasn't faired as well, but I don't care as long as I can get back to something resembling clean racing.
 
Race A..Total like it and hate it. TQ was easy as I got 1:27.9xx. Love the track. However to race is total hate cuz at the start of race the penalty occur so many times when a person isnt fault. I got that so many times and result of lost SR point and gain DR point. Likewise as I mention before most drivers is total stupid. Ill live anyway lol

993 & 997.

Did one lap each. 53.8 in the 993.

53.4 997.

997 is a scalpel. 995 is plain fun! They seem well matched, if I keep the rear of the 993 planted. Should be a fun week.

Edit: Welp. Just did a 52.995 in the 993!

I wonder if they're not using B.O.P. for these N-class races because they know how flawed it is. I think with B.O.P. on the 997 would destroy the 993.

Anyway, good race idea. I like it.
 
After my first Race A, I'm constantly getting the Network boot warning. Shut off my PS4 twice. Got booted from Race B after entering. I'm in Race A entry period with 3 minutes remaining.

Got booted with 1 minute remaining for Race B while trying to set a qualifier.

Edit: I'm in Race C. See how we go.

Edit2: No qualy. 1bar all race. Started 13/20. Let everyone pass. Of course I make up one spot, as someone is ghosted at T1.

Brake early for cars ahead to not mess them up. Got three penalties at the second chicane. Must be lag. I went thru perfect each time.

Pitted Lap1. RH to RM. Fill up.

Run to end of Lap 6. Put fresh RM and filled from 2.1Laps to 4.0Laps. Came out 11th.

Served my last chicane penalty. Pass a struggling AMG GT3 that had a penalty anyway.

Fought a GT-R to the line for 9th. It pips me by 0.018 seconds.

PS4 not sharing my captures. Test connection showed 208ms before Race B. 468ms after the race. Now, 346ms before another Race B entry.

Back down to A/A because of two knuckleheads at the back. A TT and a Slophy. TT starts blocking the Slophy down the straight. Lightly taps it at the first chicane. By Larini hairpin, the Slophy had the inside and the Slophy goes off. I catch up to the TT and the Slophy divebombs me.

Into the COD, the TT is on my left rear. I've outdragged and it still wants to go two-wide thru the while thing!

Anyway, us three are banging the whole last two laps to the finish line. Hate that crap. I even hung back to stay away from all this mess.

My bars all green at warm up. Now, 1 bar at the start.:indiff:
 
I get tapped into. I get penalty.
I barely tap someone. Penalty.

I just lost 13 SR. The current state of this game and its penalty system is a pathetic joke.

E: Don't even do Daily Race C. Save yourself.

E2: I don't even know if I want to deal with these shenanigans anymore. Why even bother? I was thinking of doing Nations Race tomorrow, but with that combination and this current penalty system, it screams SR reset as much as this C race combination does. Should I even try to get a good time for B race to try to regain SR and DR I lost from this race? Or should I wait until this draconian and idiotic penalty system is changed for the better?

I don't even know anymore. I'm just so frustrated.

E3: Right now, I'm thinking of spending some time away from this game, especially with FIA ending soon. Go play other games like ACC or catch up on One Piece or something. Something to get away from the current state of this game. Or if I can't spend time away from this game, do some of my own races where we just mess around and have fun, and don't get penalized for breathing 1 breath per second too fast or for touching an atom of another car. I'm gonna stop editing this for now before it turns into a novel, so feel free to quote me or ping me on Discord or something.

Yesterday an Israeli with 1 bar was teleporting at race b. He was p1 and we were changing positions in the most absurd situations. Unbelievable we didnt crash. I was seeing him in my rear view mirror or wide into the sand trap while he was p1 :lol:

edit: after the race i typed check your connection. Next race b and he was 5 bars. Dunno what he did.

Friggin idiots last race. As Micah says, I barely touch anyone (in Race B though) and penalties happen. My bars were all green and dropping to yellow. Went to red at the start, but up and down yellow and green for the rest of the race.

I love to drive the 993 and believe i'm good at it but never raced at Fuji. It takes a 100 laps to get some solid racing lines for me at a track. Hard task. My wrists hurt. MistahMCA videos helps a lot tho. :cheers:
 
Tried 1 race B clean for me as far as my driving , got hit by another car and end up loosing 5 SR points , how's this system fair to anyone
 
Are we really surprised with Monza? Really?

Especially with the change to penalties it is now not only the home of speed, but the home of a speedy DR reset as well.

In a plus note the FR cars are setting some blasting times for DTS race B in Asia. Current tops is a Mustang. In my WRX I even put out a 46.7 with room for improvement. Might have to break out the Vette I haven't used since we had this race last.

And I am definitely not taking the main account to Monza. I am sadly trying to save it to be in a nice lobby for the Redbull Nations race this weekend. If the midweek races of death dont reset me before then.:scared:

Busted down to D/E by divebombers in FF's.

So, I thought I'd have a go at the Pleasure Beach while I'm here.

Rollercoaster was fine, the Waltzer was fun but the Dodgems were the best by far!

May hang around here for a while
 
Will try race C from the back with the R4M account I think with all this potential resetting until I get a quali time on my main that may be able to fight at the front but even then it's risky
Looking forward to race b, usually pretty good for a battle
 
A good start from last weeks Race B.
P7 to P2 in first lap passing 3 cars breaking into t1. B/B field. Finished 2nd clean.

In Turkish we call this " three birds with a stone" :lol:

Alright net fixed itself. Two videos. First is Race A. Just watch the start and skip to the last lap. Ridiculous.


This one is good. First Race B, the C7 won. A Huracan, Mustang and TT kept divebombing me. So so close to just smashing them all. Sorry y'all, but when I see a red flag with the white flower, them dudes just don't know how to lift off the throttle.

Next race:

Anyway, the C7 makes an awesome save and must be a bit shaken. Moves over and hands me the position. I hun the 650S down. Set fastest lap 46.271. watched the replay, the 650S set a 46.371. My qualy lap was a 46.248.

Wadda ya know? I was just racing against ultimatemopar this evening, and also chose the RCF gr.4! I couldn't really get near him as I was doing the 'Last to ?' challenge on my second acc, but it was a lot of fun racing! (BTW if you want verification of the Lexus RCF thing, just look me up on KudosPrime).
